Job Duties / Responsibilities
* R' W% z0 B1 U! T! u# I• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
1 G. V+ @9 `2 Y• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
% L6 n1 D5 H0 v$ X( Q2 V5 L• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.

2 g& h- C0 Q5 l3 L& ^5 k• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
- {7 e$ u$ a! X+ X% d• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
( q8 H0 d. c$ S7 V• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
. I" I# _% V+ ~$ A• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
& V: V3 x: i1 K9 o4 ?# g9 Z• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
. X5 W. a1 @1 N- ?; F* C• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
1 r3 [# R  [3 L4 ?$ Q• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
. j1 m2 A6 O) t4 T• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
9 E9 G3 x& R" ^5 M• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
7 g# o( K/ U& j: hresolution.
( Z3 T; ^4 F3 P! G0 _3 O% B$ b• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
( m5 E* Z! B' P4 M: T, B4 m• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
3 o% x4 O7 G: X" `• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
: Z/ ?8 W& v/ s& }2 A• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
, Q# Q: N3 ~' s5 x+ A+ E5 L• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
6 k3 }$ m/ L7 {  a9 A8 d• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
- ?3 u3 G* v' y% l3 r• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
) C% T" K* {8 M' g9 S8 E• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
0 I8 x  s) M& H' I! B1 q• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
# M5 {8 u6 l5 M  _& k) p• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.

8 o  L4 u7 y: B. g: M& q$ REducation / Experience
: I' F% ~* E0 V, I1 G• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
. ~5 |9 p& z2 B4 Y1 O2 B8 I• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
# o3 b$ r3 Z! \6 c+ v" {) u2 a• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
6 r$ j4 j6 @: F4 t" K• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
