Job Duties / Responsibilities
% y8 x2 j( t5 A5 e• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

• Preserves materials.
" A0 p" K  y8 H+ T+ w• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
+ n% S$ Q6 E! q& ^6 T• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
) t% l. X* H) u• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
5 u6 x6 R/ O7 N6 k/ |• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
, o/ h* |( M% M+ g. q• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
% N1 x2 e  w  d% p6 N! u! u9 j: F• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
5 b/ t! [8 y+ \7 P5 p& E- A2 c• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
( ^+ `3 Q! y' q, P6 O: `resolution.
% r8 ]1 V) }$ S2 F' ?• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
' _$ ]8 D; |8 j9 Z) e2 a! h! P( k• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
; G$ w- m( O) ~/ s% }) P• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
& j3 c& @5 [# h• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
. D  W* |  H7 a* O7 z" V• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
7 N5 J7 S) L6 E0 h1 s• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
; n' |; A9 _8 b$ e% B• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
& {4 Q8 R6 E2 L  j* y• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
. [: S# F: H. l! \% H# m• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.

Education / Experience
. `9 S) o8 b% B4 W0 _5 j• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
3 M! H& t# [1 \, B" I/ ~• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
% Y" a8 f& A1 B' g• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
" [, m+ s+ ^2 i+ q6 l' j1 t/ e• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
