; s* p+ V2 f7 [( N% TDetermine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
8 C# \& _7 u+ a& EAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions P$ V% l* t: m8 u
Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances $ b6 |% Z6 f7 i7 J$ }1 I
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods ) }' N& P, b8 O% r5 v" s; E( c/ {
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
* ]6 y8 C0 P% U1 n( p. aMaintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
