Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants

EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.. N1 ?7 n5 `# D; N/ k5 s0 _7 K
F9 d g( l& G+ R% Y, vPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana. H% n' y7 A4 S& \6 m/ @% L

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.* Y7 ?+ j g+ u- R4 J

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.' p5 ?6 Z' \; O% B3 y' U3 r
