EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

( I% R0 \; O5 L) CPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.* I) t9 [. a# P, J, f: ]& j4 w$ I
2 J4 O8 a# f; g$ h8 x2 s$ [2 ]Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
