EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.5 E0 ?2 @5 X C/ P1 H

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.0 n% A& e2 G9 n( s
- x; {7 u x4 m+ F0 ]6 V1 e) ~Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.

Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
