P% `" z# X* d; X$ RCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

Key administrative duties:

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.0 H3 l7 G/ z3 j. H0 t" i: y

• Complete data entry in various programs." X7 ]2 A& v, q; a' B, A9 H% h

, M* x* {; y4 C8 P• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

) b+ f" Z  o. g• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.% d# I2 _7 M5 x% S

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

, m8 I& I) n% R* h! P+ ?• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

• Perform financial administrative duties as required.

! N: _& B8 |" ~* A; u& y• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.: j/ b( r) o9 g# H5 @/ o0 ]

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs." q# g+ c+ q8 M  v. }& L* F

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

Fund Development

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions
* d- p5 A2 t7 b5 w: ~+ [# o- C
# M6 p) F/ C* c% _• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

/ e! p& |% b: ~0 B0 e# Y2 B# O2 USkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.$ b; M# h) g7 `- [2 q0 H

Spanish language abilities are an asset.
