, B3 t3 v; H1 v1 [CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.5 O; R! W5 k! k4 R) L2 Q6 e

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

Fund Development

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.( O1 t3 N3 U, W1 j5 P6 B$ l( `
) A/ ^$ A" {5 s• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.# \0 _' ^ o; [( `' u. a

Spanish language abilities are an asset.
