Z! d7 j7 j$ NCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.$ Q) o. c/ Y7 c g- \" D

2 J% w4 l1 q% p3 E1 ^3 g• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Complete data entry in various programs.4 E6 H; @4 v# M/ U" [

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.4 e& f. p4 O/ t* e2 E0 z

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.- H) z' w6 J% s7 G; E) x

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Perform financial administrative duties as required.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

6 O2 x8 y: _/ m9 V9 R• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions% w6 o. `! {3 J- {" e
8 z+ x: A" X4 K• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts. B7 ] ], ^: h8 n8 g( M Q
1 Z6 @9 y- k& w) X" f. ~• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.'
