CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.2 ^. T3 T: j# e1 R9 _

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

% X( M& O0 f1 p6 Z• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual./ |& O3 N" ]8 k" g+ l- y

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

) ^% |6 Y$ r5 y• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

. S; \* i9 Z; ~• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

z, Z8 S( d( A' E8 ?3 ESkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.: ~ _) G0 y: k( b) _: Z
