9 s! s# k( K; y% o0 x! r0 a; LCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.6 {' i' w5 E p. F7 f

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.& t5 h/ }: k3 G/ R' w

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:5 I3 k& @ T( o1 U

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport./ h" {5 g, |3 v# c8 E4 ]8 `

- C7 n ^: E( [# @• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions% Y+ v5 W( M& L) `1 O e/ @
2 W! o% v7 Y* K/ ^• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.7 z5 I/ V* u; |0 B

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
