T3 H2 `) |CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

Fund Development

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

( l" k1 t5 `& l• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

g8 B* F8 ]$ P$ [ l0 i: E+ I• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.1 @- r3 y, s H1 b

/ M, P: u- e4 q n" h% uSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
