CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.' v4 C1 n( L e

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions& D$ f/ P& D# q* |

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts. d( [3 m x* Z$ R7 ], [! a' s
5 f+ x$ j: p' e7 t• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

" U; _- `% w/ Q, `% Q* @7 T1 pSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.!
