, R( l! }& a/ v) T$ B9 S2 SCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.7 e. W# O2 m" {: ]

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.: c- p" S. b ^, }7 \

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.# d$ @6 v0 \. m4 R3 @$ R

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.$ r {: p* s& Y9 [7 Z8 w

8 r# u! _9 [8 o- x, M1 M. v• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.5 A* W# i1 F' ?1 h) G) P

' F/ s" ?5 b- K0 ~* [3 Y# [% e• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

1 `5 I0 i$ u3 a' }- Z z/ KSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
