6 B2 B2 v: R; _$ HCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

* C& T( s# ?) s) d. m' N% v" Z• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.1 s; F$ k1 }& b1 R+ S4 M. N

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

• Perform financial administrative duties as required.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

. G: B5 t5 T# r6 g• Maintain inventory of communication materials.& _# y3 [8 s3 M+ W+ {

' |' D" p* T6 o• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.- Q, G& D; _/ o- \

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.& b7 F6 }# a, ^* y9 O& j8 z! |

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.3 f" I  C" G) v" c# {+ d5 s

• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting

1 X3 l2 S# L9 `& i& p* K• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.# C$ P. x7 _9 z7 F. T1 D

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
