6 G0 f& B% l0 U* w( RCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.$ N2 e7 U1 O, o* @9 k

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.# x& j. `* e4 O$ i' l0 i

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes., z% ]- n* h# A* k, M

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Perform financial administrative duties as required.

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.7 D, H1 G# z; _

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

8 K l# K4 u. H• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.* ~& J/ _( {2 w0 g
^; ]. p; ?6 d* \• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

; J! z4 z; x, `4 J1 U/ Q1 a& tSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.'
