CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.$ J5 \2 p) I1 x5 H0 K- Z

! t& J' l1 i- Z8 N U• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.. R, V7 Z6 I9 u. a% I" }

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.5 J! y, g8 d6 v

3 v9 c0 ~4 \* e; W! u8 K+ U• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions7 @/ a7 e% m# u. s6 E

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.3 P5 }" X" W, v3 {, C2 U
