% i1 g4 `, A) RCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. • Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

% f5 N9 x6 O; ]# u$ m• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

( {4 H9 d! u1 v• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

Fund Development

6 c$ i* t* G/ P• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

5 \3 b! o- f) x3 Q• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.( g7 p7 w/ P* R5 [" J
) W( y9 h/ f& _! m+ _. Y$ Y5 v1 }. U• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.8 W7 Y8 r5 a8 Z

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
