CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

Fund Development

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions: c4 \; ^# \2 I" F2 G6 W. N
2 c/ C, f. ?1 m' Z, r• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.' a2 l3 `7 T4 Q1 f& o

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.6 b9 z4 Y) d- W b" `; I

9 Z5 A: S/ d! S& G1 J ESkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
