7 b+ I5 g1 M4 }1 MCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

Key administrative duties:

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.! y0 |! B8 L a e" z

• Complete data entry in various programs.+ Q$ `" i; n6 Z

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:" I) l; m( N" r9 x/ d" j

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.& N2 f' t0 K# Y& A

& P J* @5 w& p0 t/ V• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.; f3 t9 ]* q1 x$ C0 z

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events./ `" T; M# i# s F' T% d

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development." u.
