CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.3 H& M7 Z$ w) s9 u5 _; b8 b

3 X7 S* c K8 u7 @% }• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.$ }8 u) w5 l) R. x

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.6 Z j) J4 x) }2 _

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.6 t/ B- ?- w* r" U3 }- s
1 Z& `4 k$ n3 B• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.( ]& f% b3 O2 A% }( O" |& E" W! l0 s

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions8 m5 h* ~; h- c4 J; f, _

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.1 ?; P4 t) t; @/ ~! V2 K
& R, ?# M, J. m4 b$ o4 b6 J+ q) \0 ?% ~• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.$ Z" ?* {& _1 n. |- n/ }1 z
