# ]5 z! w$ x" q6 E {1 FCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.4 ^8 U& A# V0 f- m2 p

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Complete data entry in various programs.& [! D( L1 z! R' g: Q
) L6 V- Y* G2 X+ y8 a# K; ]• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.9 Y# ]$ q% D* d E( N/ O

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

) m5 `8 X0 P" F D9 O• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

Fund Development

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.1 K5 `' H$ L- T; @7 [& Y5 |

• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting5 K, \% v7 P8 h4 \3 H- D) u

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.! j- d7 y% ?, ~' y3 m7 g" ]
0 W" ^0 G e0 o1 zSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
