2 {, q0 [7 o, H" s3 O: Y* ICHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.+ i0 \+ Q q9 z% T. y

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.1 Y, u v6 [! p3 C# Q1 p

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.# ^* k& L1 J/ Z4 K' X, B6 I, U

& C; u9 V+ D( c$ g: P! b" x% G1 m: Y• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.! s5 l z0 t+ I( E

• Support maintenance of Human Resources records and the development of employee handbook.

• Perform financial administrative duties as required.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.- b3 L+ x, a0 d2 S: r9 D

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.# `- j P0 g7 f! j4 R4 x/ Q! v, }5 T
6 j* Z3 b. i1 S' q% M+ v0 P: d• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.( O8 p7 E4 H) W+ F3 _

. I* z+ ?, Q7 o! z- ESkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.8 E. Spanish language abilities are an asset.
