% i, u8 Z$ K/ E$ G2 ]$ ^# VCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

4 C+ h/ J# a- `" X5 V• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.( P; m# s! K( T; r" }4 w

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.: B! c, s2 L2 `! r& ?2 Y: |( O' r

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.8 b5 g2 G h8 R! J# M

8 q5 ]( H! @' J; P4 a3 s+ B• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.8 O9 |. g; o4 n! v3 {) f

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development."
