0 C7 K6 X/ c \0 d0 r* xCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.2 F/ s$ ^! P- {

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

3 K- R! p. n' S0 ~6 o• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes., l/ ^/ d3 _% L- o% e
, I+ U+ z& g% ?* M( a( |• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

" r* x$ ]* t6 {1 j8 |• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events. s, Q8 Q# a& p

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
