D6 k3 p, \# d3 JCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.3 R8 f3 H$ Q+ b: |: m+ W

M! L" Z# C9 n8 B! s6 D4 O• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.5 \# s8 ]; g: [( K+ l
/ ?1 t3 K4 l0 g• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.% {/ k1 l$ i2 F- Q

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport./ a" n# p! p* E+ y

Fund Development

9 f! S" {9 A2 D- [• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.+ \# I: {5 A* M# h. }- p+ O J

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required./ h4 s/ ?4 x7 b1 |( t' I. ]0 m
/ p3 m3 N) L: DSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.4 C/ X( s% Y) @!
