1 I5 b$ X: j: l& _$ w5 }% ^# L( gCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.; D# g; `) V5 o+ K$ V8 s
2 g6 t. @: U" q, B9 M• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.1 m2 q$ g& ?" p( { n

3 w) Y' e4 r- s6 H- M1 a• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.( f3 t! g2 ~( o6 ?1 }

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

F4 s E% [1 h2 _' o9 F• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes., g% H: w: ]" O- q0 E6 T' b7 U3 ~

z/ z, J% ?' Y6 [' V• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

' q# f4 W1 w, j• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions5 n2 u! \$ a' D8 d+ a+ E- ^
* R! E% Z* L! D; }• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events. I+ B" ^3 W# K5 Q0 u9 D5 x* g/ s

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.

5 y$ j; Y; Q- ]' T5 T0 i0 x% YSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development., Z, [& [3 p5 \
