3 ]7 d" l& F6 M' ^" E7 k* kCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups., Y& n" g; N3 X

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

4 l, ^: @9 L- \4 q1 R• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.' v# ~& I2 x) \$ Q( V4 H

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.7 F4 G" j- F K3 [
) ^0 h# z& w. m: ?• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.% [9 }) r; u* O3 P& I! u0 b

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development." v) @2 p" O7 N# l T/ L
