1 F: z7 E5 w' n5 c+ ~CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.# m( R. d* Z4 k3 U o

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

% m! h0 x4 \5 [• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.! f8 X, W' R. _" L/ X& r9 c

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions. D* ]! A4 _- k3 m. \1 Y

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.6 j, c) x- t, ]) j; a
# @# z& K% N. ? d• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.& j) F' z! _# F- l

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.. L5 H d! n+ F" V
. x- w! P7 ]# T7 d7 R0 P$ `Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.* | p) u R' ^0 ~. b4 g
