2 P0 T6 r- y& L$ \7 ]CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.6 e; U3 q5 Y @

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Manage mail outs for fund development or education purposes with support of Program Managers.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.! D# [+ S& n& d- v8 U8 P' J9 j

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources. }% ~& n# [* T$ J; w4 y7 K6 j

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.% @7 ]' e( A/ D7 c

7 {5 w M+ b: I• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

6 Y5 J! z' p4 g U• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

( G$ |7 `1 l+ }) C3 R3 C2 m• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts./ s! Z: s7 ~7 F* T, I; n% i
) c1 G# N9 P4 R* F7 J* o• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events., `3 z0 j+ L1 Y9 V" v$ H7 l+ q1 w

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.

& o' w- d, S( uSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.4 m, c8 f, ]0 U/ s* c' _

Spanish language abilities are an asset.
