CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.4 n# K$ c2 |+ B- g) N

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual. L7 S; c5 C9 n. ~

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Support maintenance of Human Resources records and the development of employee handbook.

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.8 D m3 D4 w+ e0 e( j

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA., |' T/ G; S2 R, W* c# Q. G

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

" J; h t# E) L7 m• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.'
