2 @2 J: l" u0 g* `4 O7 FCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

2 [/ l2 c# x: ]• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

" k8 |8 H/ |; O• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

7 H, x1 D/ n# g3 M  R• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.5 @% w5 _/ P3 |" }( J2 j

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

/ L: l# f" e4 f- |' A7 y• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling.

• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

; e) d. o$ s/ }1 H• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.* V5 x( |+ B# P0 l# P

Fund Development
& r; e' g: q- x/ I+ {" p5 H8 U. R1 G
• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions- |) {, e  T8 |+ r4 G

0 ]  ]6 U( {; g0 L2 g7 q• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting8 O2 P  ^* c; H( c, o) r

9 g& J+ _( N% N$ A8 e• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.3 }  w& v: ~( e- J. I8 D: W

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.1 P/ o/ |+ R/ [' \7 g

Spanish language abilities are an asset.
