Police Service Preparation Program

- w/ B" ]$ W4 ~1 ^7 `This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

Entrance Criteria
You must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
+ p$ l. L9 g" ]) w. }• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
" p* u: k  Z1 u+ M1 q$ h) z+ I, h: y• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
6 o) s$ t2 n* }. j& _" G+ I  k• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
