Job Duties / Responsibilities
1 n7 ~4 O. j% w3 {. g2 k$ L; mThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
+ o$ H. p& ?# t& ]: r• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
, V: j0 K& h" H, \# S: o$ [* o• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
) B2 n* R+ e5 ^• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

" j/ ~6 U4 d9 }/ d8 C1 J7 Q• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
, W. h; p$ a5 H9 c# K4 N- |' A4 |• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.


Education / Experience
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
+ e: ?$ t0 V$ G' }4 C- i, X$ T  w• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
