题目：如何在阿尔伯塔省做土木工程师

讲员：Ms. 纪 P.Eng, M.Eng。现为Senior Civil/Structure Engineer, 早年毕业于清华土木工程, 有多年中国及加拿大工作经验。( x. ]$ Q% i2 m1 G/ s6 m e2 V# O

Introduce Canadian Universities with civil engineering programs and some main courses
: e$ T3 g. `0 j5 g; L! v; Z+ T" T5 bIntroduce Alberta’s oil sand deposits, ways of producing bitumen, process, explain type of structures for each processing steps, and why maintenance projects are always needed in oil sand companies.
7 e3 ]4 ]6 _# R! u, c: Q& Q- }Introduce project execution plan, and explain what civil/structural engineers need to do in a project, what are the engineering deliverables in different stages. 7 b9 I+ S" l R8 T/ A; A$ t' B
At last, discuss the structural designs in heavy industry, introduce the types of structures/foundations in heavy industry, design code/specifications/, design deliverables, what should a calculation report include? Some information on detail design, foundation design, dynamic foundation design and modularization design. |
