. P% l6 [' Q$ n/ H5 a2 ?. p2 H" fIn a news release, CFIA says Ochratoxin A is a mycotoxin produced by fungi that can grow in food such as grains, grapes and coffee beans and has been classified by as a possible human carcinogen.- J m0 x# a! C r) T
D _# v& [$ y4 h8 p* i" y1 O) i" vCFIA says that if a child has consumed the food, there is no need to seek medical attention since the substance is not harmful when eaten as part of a healthy diet over the short term.
