Responsibilities:" I6 P" r' }9 C" |2 z: \
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth- u l0 O+ @( M. ^. ]3 Y" Q/ l
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling, W! T. K( w9 w' a9 p
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
* h3 h1 |+ G/ J: M0 s8 o- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
; I3 _6 Z6 g7 S0 I3 c( L6 N- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health! }4 p6 n# m& k' x8 m1 \, w

Key Qualifications:( A" ]; q* ^& @4 ]! t+ P: v
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
% B5 r3 ~/ y. q. N( U8 M- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
2 {7 e! F: m6 C* p6 P5 |- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others( c+ h& w: U8 @) n6 W: I0 e
- Experience doing program development
, p5 |9 @! b! m& W& z$ ^- Strong organizational and coordination skills

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset" ^! J$ M- K/ H! E8 h3 e- l
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license$ R; Y! Z$ o' l/ L1 k" O

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
