; c! w+ C- {4 H* ?- y8 q: R: K7 q- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth: P; ^" `, y, N. H
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
3 _9 w7 O6 ?# O r: j" u+ u- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
$ S4 l E% d1 Y7 ?# w' J- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs& w3 f0 t1 q8 g4 m2 w6 }8 E
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:% M8 P( u' o7 N" s7 i
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences# P0 @6 |; S. W1 F. ~( i
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement0 V- X A5 {2 _3 s
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others% T7 E& R9 H: b8 N! w( Q
- Experience doing program development( ]0 |* e! g i2 l' d7 V6 {7 ^' W
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
; ]8 S$ S; X& H* m+ i' w0 ?- Self-directed and able to take initiative
$ u2 V, A- ]/ v( o5 J- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset& Y4 K ?7 S+ G
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license2 p D8 l6 ?( m5 n. u1 [: z7 ?- x

Assets:
