几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic( a( k. i+ z( r1 X; s& x6 h& T: n+ V1 u' {
2 N; f k1 r! _- k
这个词sarcastic 和ironic 用法上有什么区别。

4 s+ K% ]% ~" v9 D# A# i j8 L' E x% Z! `# T$ r
ironic: j3 L' i! N3 ^. A, t7 X" Q+ W
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?( r1 }( H% l: F' j- ^- @$ ~
there, I was being ironic
% T8 ~6 }/ d8 ]$ sironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!)* f0 G l+ h3 F
sarcastic 有更多感情色彩,有主观上的一种伤害,攻击的意愿,是坏的intention
c8 Y% {1 }0 Z, @% v
" t( O0 o9 y, ^: M7 y" f }9 S还拿如花的例子说,这个情景对话两个词都能用到:) u) f( z7 b* b" S1 C; T
如花: hi 美女
: y3 `" }* b' b# A) P美女: are you being sarcastic?% L8 j/ [( l9 q1 m; q7 @
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
X; e- a, `& E7 n/ D美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
