CALGARY - A fire has halted operations at one of Suncor Energy's two oilsands upgraders north of Fort McMurray, the company said Tuesday.

No one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said.

+ ]: S, t3 S R7 EThe energy giant said the 125,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down after the fire, and it is currently assessing damage.- U$ S. N6 @- `7 c1 B- M

According to Reuters, Suncor could not specify how much crude the unit was producing before the incident.
