CALGARY - A fire has halted operations at one of Suncor Energy's two oilsands upgraders north of Fort McMurray, the company said Tuesday.

No one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said.

& {+ s& O- }4 \, [/ YSuncor has been plagued by a series fires at its oilsands operations in the past five months, suffering three fires since October in the upgraders which convert bitumen into synthetic crude oil.
