On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.2 P- k/ T/ U6 a, v

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:( A% e# g5 ]5 |. F
3 o, q k" S7 Y, r! Q
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut ( D; e- ^8 { c! p; ^. k) k
digging for and examining fossils 4 U9 |2 _% s) E4 F2 f$ R" F; m
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth $ y9 J. Q3 d2 w3 k
investigating insects

8 ]+ @4 e% y. ]% [7 L. u6 p/ p“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.0 @, r8 _) P: ^$ t; n# O
