March 7th: the University of Alberta Museums’ annual Science Sunday for kids!+ r3 `- n9 p r# S5 R& Z/ N6 ~" H
6 z& w) X- A4 @" u# G% ~ w. x; N; {On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:; b& ~) P3 u0 H6 P& M) @& r
, b9 q m$ X4 ~* ?6 s) olearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut W! J% D4 F& |# X* m- Y
digging for and examining fossils ! G8 N/ k7 [# z7 g
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth

# x7 |/ P: V2 g. \“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
