On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.) V' A# n+ {* Q7 v, Z( B+ N6 i1 n
+ a8 s5 z$ i: }$ e) _: S$ T6 I+ {Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:. a& i1 I; p) i9 \' v, L+ O1 Q

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
6 o" B: r# A: ]$ N, n3 t; Ndigging for and examining fossils
* ^) m1 q! k: Sexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
+ v3 S" ?. p" R$ Ainvestigating insects ) p1 R; S7 D( {6 ^; `7 N
and much more!
9 X6 W% K! C# X5 a2 V: A“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
