On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:8 M: Q1 h: h0 d: S+ X5 ` J
& }4 `. d) J& T, C5 [2 Mlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut 1 r4 d/ ~( L h& `1 V+ H+ w
digging for and examining fossils
; W5 g* n0 ]2 t) m, Bexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
+ q3 e9 E$ f$ a. Binvestigating insects
0 B+ i, q2 K; p% o l3 w9 C( [and much more!/ }3 e" ?5 }1 k+ ]% h3 \. N9 h
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
