On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.* } s, ^/ z( Z M( H2 N S* H

Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:2 J. e( B) G# J
# ]$ x [# ?: G, m. ?8 R8 x& F: o
learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
* n) n* S# p8 F, [' Rdigging for and examining fossils - Z8 a. R9 x2 ?" g' P+ o+ g
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth , W9 R. `' T; d3 `" q
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.3 Y% d2 Z3 c, O& I. t+ K' a
