Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:
! B& {. E7 ^! b- w After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.
" v( l4 ^9 J: G: w1 Q5 S7 wIt is a cycle.* ?9 r0 Z$ i* ]4 D( K( `2 z) M
) o4 }) A+ ^- ^We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
}* N6 f4 W) m$ p3 x% vSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.3 y* ?3 E8 b" p3 k9 }; N
The problem should be inside the bucket.+ a; P; m5 {% E0 Z& l/ X% s: z

When the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
2 s) P: I% I6 d X- @" rUse a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
2 B* M' \+ P# h/ M) C/ n* pConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.
