. k" M5 y3 b$ w# E' \Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:8 ~9 h, Z: R' |7 k) f+ _" x
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again. p! C4 @" O/ Q
It is a cycle.

Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.0 w; l" n3 s8 l9 [/ ?. S9 ~7 w
The problem should be inside the bucket.

When the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.3 N+ V. X" E P. g/ o
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
3 J( z" y7 W5 n6 q* J/ @: eConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.2 d* |2 O. Q4 s+ C7 V# P

The next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.9 D! Q/ c$ T3 C% e. q
They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again., [5 P# {; M3 ^. n3 R u+ Z6 D
It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them. - b6 F* e- z8 T9 L/ [
