§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
1 Q. O2 T x4 Y3 K- J4 s§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution

§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times

; a3 K) x. O+ R% l4 F§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert q5 Y7 E3 e+ V# m3 M
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties% w$ t' X" L- f8 p3 W& y
§ Special projects as required

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

Position Summary:

RThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). % b. `8 V; C2 H

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives

§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
% D1 Z. K0 l0 Z1 x+ M# S" X% Y§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to/ L2 S) f) h9 z2 H
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
8 {/ P1 a0 {0 @7 t§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access

§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan

§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert& e. z0 d {7 l0 e
§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management9 j9 _ c, x: L; _
§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance

§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers
