8 D' x' c/ z' w. T! T- \The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

; P' J* M9 e# s- EResponsibilities:
4 W" s0 C( t2 f3 P8 k$ K+ E0 f§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
, p6 u! I5 V! ~& q% \, `1 Y4 i§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution # \' k9 i  g4 b1 C$ A! Q
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation' j* X3 w" W& N1 Q. X
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
# t, J9 A" W7 u  i5 U3 r§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk) B: X5 n  H6 y5 N4 l7 @7 V
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
7 D' L- A+ ^; e% n/ @7 J§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties2 M0 Y# u4 l% h$ Y: q
§ Special projects as required( R# T4 P7 d% V, t& b0 X4 S( u
§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

Qualifications:
% {- x# }5 x2 O: t, d. u" ~§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
' m) r+ Y; s2 D% G# F§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision) C2 X3 H3 [4 B4 V0 M
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
; S1 R% n% T1 t4 b& P; c; i§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
$ \+ Z' @/ n1 h# R9 J1 v§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
# S" Q* U; U# {§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software+ ?/ ?7 q7 x  d. ~% Z
§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

; N$ a4 u9 K- i0 EThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage a stable local IT environment
4 H# i* a8 w; c7 k§ Manage and coach staff in IT group
" i8 `# \. M! B$ O6 x$ `§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support6 u3 B  C$ E% L$ ?
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
, ]: T/ X  F% i/ g§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
# R1 g% {0 Z0 z- N5 K3 ?§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
% T+ G! z! ~& l" U- q§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to6 c+ ~3 r: r7 C$ }7 L9 ^
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
0 y) h( U' k  j; O; c# ~0 p§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access. C: }* {- `- Q( r* @
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures  E( W8 \7 @  ]. P& B: j3 T
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
; W/ w( P6 D( B5 f3 x- F" Q§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
) [: p1 k& V) r/ J§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
+ |2 z6 R0 I4 l" c/ b7 H! v§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT
4 p6 c" L5 K" O+ t2 D# u9 W. C§ Coordinate and support end user training) t: M0 W  A0 X% l5 s+ |# C
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers% M; Z1 A$ x* `8 f4 E
§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance

Qualifications:

在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
