Position Summary:
1 n! D% a& p8 sThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.( {( D; X: Q9 I

Responsibilities:
* Z% P" j& o: y r$ z§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
" w) {7 B2 @! }7 c+ n§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 0 P z& Q: W1 h- Z
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
' S- g! Y- B3 \# ]§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times, ?9 Z m- g8 y
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
, z+ B% i/ z+ {" w6 w+ I§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert2 L7 M& k6 O3 p, u
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties
; q8 F6 b4 |" u; t§ Special projects as required+ ?* W7 G1 J9 F1 P! v( g; r
§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

Position Summary:
/ S7 v! `" n, TThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

Responsibilities:

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports

' X; Z0 y! D w/ {§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access+ [- J+ R8 ~0 R

§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan

§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
