, P' d$ n. [2 V1 T6 }6 H+ q2 v4 ^Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

# j: Y' K2 ^1 H' }KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
3 g9 D  a* w' t  Q" n        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
9 P8 M0 x0 ~. t  Y. B& M        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
# ]# ^6 g, i3 D# U: f        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
) f  \; W" F- n1 Z•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
: g+ x6 ^- m, i4 y& O5 q•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
4 O( s: P- a' j" n9 P•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
