" C/ y+ q! D6 o  |1 EReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

7 {- w" t# P3 m$ gKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
6 _& x: w8 t1 U$ j/ S        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
4 i* B* K5 o7 @; P4 _        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
; p; |0 c' R0 h) q% Y: U' [
QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
* w- X4 R$ C1 H  h# s) v. [+ l•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
4 H; G! V& b; }4 \; }3 A% T4 M8 {•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
8 {9 E9 N9 A& L6 K3 N# h•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
