0 g% X* s( _( d3 |) {- fReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
8 {0 W6 E$ h. v, d        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
$ u" U! a$ @$ |  |; ~  a% t        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

1 v( S4 n# }! p: UQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
/ ~' R/ ^2 n; x9 s% i- x•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
. d* U3 C* u( J' T•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
3 o/ }. c$ t7 Z' t•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
