& g2 f* v: P" E+ HReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
; t/ S4 S8 r4 F! A$ b" u        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
' p$ a* k* f; F$ [0 \$ q, b        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
: a+ {6 n" g- W3 v# ~" V. m6 r•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
8 O7 \( C; R/ Q; V& J•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
% `0 ~: @8 K( Y  m( B& C•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
$ l- }/ S$ I! o3 @; U. V. W4 s" V•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
