I Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
7 C( \5 S# o% G' e3 c6 B5 }: C Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

8 p; F. H5 u& E. B! z, X- I5 lWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

0 k5 c2 h7 w* g& h- U. \* EOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

7 ~# O, X! J, J. r9 wWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

  T, z/ H2 z4 e6 o' eProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

1 h& d4 G) v7 t" J; q+ wSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
/ E- R1 }  u* m Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

8 K  O8 e: I0 K( V; p$ \/ V10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

$ F+ }. b2 L' ?, l- X; fGas industry experience preferred;

+ M, H5 n3 q( DExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
( k, d3 ^$ K8 {
Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

  T6 ^5 P) C8 l& NA high degree of personal initiative;

Strategic thinker.
