. f5 V3 r7 o$ K* h2 U0 M/ k Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
; k4 a! D& [5 [) D3 g, r1 u Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

# `' M( Z" |. ]0 g1 J5 WLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

( r3 t3 Y; ]2 n- {1 {) CWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

4 y5 ~" H* T: kWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
+ W- R4 _' c: @" Y$ h2 u- J! nManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

3 Z, {6 L8 K. U/ j- t% I6 HProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

- y& f* }: k$ x$ n* k7 @10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

# I2 |+ a. f9 P. P+ H2 W0 g" f. X. iExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;
