Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
8 b. P' S0 n9 Qcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
4 P0 c9 e1 {! ?  ?" l* ACustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
+ g3 K. X; ]" G: H& x• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
1 M# T! ^+ ^: C" }! w, ystock
- m8 X1 ]  M$ P; J( S+ _5 e• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
0 X1 @4 X% F, C" S, V" m9 ?( mlooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
0 t- N0 }9 k# f9 V2 F: d• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
  M$ D$ \& ^3 q7 P1 U• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
4 `: ^3 x4 @, b  B, FQualifications
7 \& B5 K+ j- ~3 f, o$ t• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
! F6 L) r8 b+ t7 a2 X5 r6 l• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
3 E9 _+ X  g9 U" w1 }, X• Good problem solving skills
# k, n8 z6 A4 M+ b% `2 }• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Demanding workload

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
* b* H; ?9 U# i• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds

- b7 ^  H/ x) M" X4 k• Comfortable climbing ladders
