Job Purpose
$ K- ^2 D1 q, Z  |Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
7 T- n$ O1 p% ^operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
6 b, X3 [5 K& G3 mcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
& b; O2 W. ]. r; Wthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
2 W* r2 j' i" v- ?1 E1 f2 c5 b• Assist customers find what they are looking for
. {1 c  y0 K, ?0 Z6 h• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
! v" e( y  L6 Q) ~• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
9 o3 \$ W+ n5 Nstock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
/ i. x; A& t3 \$ i2 |8 C1 I1 PStore Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
, Q3 w. U' h3 b8 s$ l7 w* T3 ?• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
8 |9 Q' ?7 o% b3 l! g. k• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
& C8 b4 B& P" o/ d0 Y• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
' U# |4 f' J/ i• Protect company assets at all times
7 @0 ?( B' \' o• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
$ Q4 }% Q5 w% ]2 C$ R; ^0 F( e  e• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
! l3 J0 U  M/ b# J+ I• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
' c' s0 \/ q* YWorking Conditions
. o6 q0 Y3 T3 }• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
