8 R' G$ L& v5 J3 {& c) s. v# ^# ^3 tEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
. P' w5 y: p  I3 v  lthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
- c9 B, ?8 x6 k+ ]2 q' Uthe Store Manager.
$ {% C  Q% g. k0 d0 x& F' S/ `Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
" H. b( b+ u: j# ]4 N7 W• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
! Q, _) I# ]! Z3 b. v• Assist customers find what they are looking for
" a2 \" n; `6 D) b( J• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
8 t3 @) O  ~6 |• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
) p6 [4 E- Z2 w! [) ^• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
* {  p  X/ b0 ?8 Q• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
: H6 U0 X, G( R3 t& N! K% X9 X& S5 u• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
2 B/ Z5 }8 T4 E. ]+ H2 S% TQualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
9 q2 ]# y* ~4 p- _' a" X% B• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
) j7 V% c. I0 X8 n• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions

• Demanding workload

• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
) f2 t  S9 ]2 Y" E8 N5 p• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
* c% p5 n7 W% K( o9 M- t: j% E. d( T• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
