Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include: 0 _# C- X& O- b1 r
Post-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields 0 a4 _7 n% w7 k4 T- G- d( ?" N: v
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role 8 {/ r4 [5 s2 t! [ S* r4 s' p
Experience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants , W" s1 y7 `$ E1 T
Excellent communication and negotiation skills & \5 I" y" d- H% e) {" E1 Z& y
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
