Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
6 }8 B( C1 k( x$ jPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
Adult education background
8 i, u: O, a4 Z( Y' vExperience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
$ d& @6 k$ c7 M' N% W& r8 \* |Ability to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
) U5 Y1 }5 Q$ o( h2 `) jExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
9 A* M0 w. o6 n: ^: vStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Understanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
/ s0 u' Z$ S9 o4 f2 Y2 PDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
- }% ]( T* V2 S2 R1 kDisplay positive self-concept
; }& Q+ f# d' {% T' TPossess excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills
