Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
, U& [+ C6 R, ?* \7 @Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
: G" H% S* D! b; E/ t4 b1 [# bŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
; C- y+ q8 M, b; V  W' z7 r) J7 Jthe organization;
3 u& b2 s% E- A9 h; g8 Z4 g6 L2 v8 oŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
' A) L/ g# B7 U1 LŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
3 e# B8 s5 K4 d. h$ yŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
; Z7 `: {# U: \implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
2 _4 f) \4 P- e! n" eŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
9 R8 i- K9 ]- m* |7 IŸ Other duties as required.

* B* Q# G; u9 t  W$ N. R( R. vŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
