Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
) D( {7 T  X; h5 tment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
  U  b: l+ L+ rŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
1 C7 [7 H& Z. W5 Z  N. U: ?' Pthe organization;
( M4 V7 @/ f* O4 r4 y. }Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
1 |5 X1 @& }4 p: C$ P1 C$ Csupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
% C  t, Q6 n; |& a$ i! w" |% ?Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
, e5 U8 h+ m$ G0 F' I; ~Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
+ b, [- {! V/ t( |+ {1 r5 `Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
! @1 k( _, o1 Y$ m! vŸ Other duties as required.
; ^8 n* f( P9 d: gQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
" I% `3 K. e1 \( a. A6 |: JŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
, n* Z  E2 O, L; K9 w' ]$ p; V& ]1 zŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
2 y2 H3 G9 K. G* g' w% A- A* a  t$ t$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
' p0 E" d# b) y! ssuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
