Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
0 l: t  P& z& a0 U! |Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
0 S; r7 e, p! h; Q2 xThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
3 S2 q* J/ l: N6 ?0 `/ Ethe organization;
; a% t1 O% L" ~' G* v2 XŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
3 K8 S* k( y9 v+ D1 m$ ?6 mŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
; J3 s7 |5 g/ @9 [# EŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
! o+ y+ O% c) S3 }, ?  a6 [$ JŸ Other duties as required.
+ {7 P5 r, C8 \( _! I; TQualifications:
/ o, |7 ]; G; m* I8 PŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
( v2 O$ |! Y" C% T% z5 G8 c& [9 N2 \8 Weducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
, q/ F8 i" C4 x& P3 XŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
: W# v  |: k3 S9 G3 F* m0 w) L  kŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
3 j8 k5 k. {% n( v% _verbal and written.
% i0 M6 w& o* U: K  fLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
1 O# [7 ^0 }) S# m8 K$ q$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
, \. s( T1 e" P! r: {In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
