Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
- ]7 h. P8 a5 D) d1 uthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
5 p% l$ }7 J1 l' n( ZŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
: G" D& |$ N! l/ `support;
8 O* j5 Q6 z, wŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
" m2 r) Y& G5 h8 u& b/ I3 @Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
9 s. y* u8 U/ a; _  W' LŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

& Y0 Q% d% V) S. u: pŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
' D1 _% X% Q- L: X" U5 qeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
) F. U0 y/ a: N/ HŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
" F7 N9 T' h& GŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
% _. M( @5 @  |/ r4 O; w1 vverbal and written.
+ C# L5 R! |$ j! PLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
