Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
9 Q/ Z2 J+ [1 g( x2 dThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
+ S) Q8 }/ H* }. ]' o: t/ a4 |Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
2 X2 m; Z0 n4 I" ]; q% b& m  Tsupport;
7 s: Q7 D9 L9 N9 ]' R7 O8 MŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
* U2 O3 h8 N) e: Himplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
/ N4 A" h4 Y' Q  G- J& X0 B& eŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
( N5 o, h4 X) eŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
/ h2 B, p0 i6 Z' v" `) P; kŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
! y4 a3 c3 H) D6 m4 vLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
