Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
" ~; T7 W% M( T, i3 fManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
2 Q( b- ^( g+ W9 Z! ^* jThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
, a4 E0 B) {! c5 OŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
" ?, u8 K) w' i+ n/ q" Wthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
6 ~5 B) w) z. j# A8 l" A. D! ^! p8 tŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
) M/ B' n, Z$ T$ o4 HŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
& a# J) e' L: b8 sŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
1 @4 l0 j  L3 s' A3 k9 bŸ Other duties as required.
. A) R6 w+ j9 \+ r: CQualifications:
. e! @. u. a! U" @2 U; VŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
2 h3 A. `2 m& w+ Peducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
1 o1 r& t( l9 z, }# tŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
" `) o, v' R" W+ }: p2 Q% CLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
, \- j% q  i7 U3 h, m$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
; P8 ], [9 B4 O; r% w1 WIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
