Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
. C6 @. g1 {$ Vment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 F( W/ M- e2 q% ^Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
: h: _9 d4 Z1 w! Y8 {support;
3 ]9 ?' ]) R0 S, |; b+ QŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
$ n: e0 h+ ~1 u+ u! M( {7 C* L6 i& CŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
7 h" ]! p) I& B6 O; h0 yŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
  x$ z/ q/ j( vQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
* ]: T  A: f$ i* B2 t/ b: vŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
7 o3 j9 d# ]5 R" everbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
) @* }1 s' Y. g  y$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
