0 K5 m7 h F& S3 k, ^* B, M Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
& |# c/ W& f. y7 a: k! }" s. C# q1 s Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
' P- Y2 Q6 e+ _2 C7 I2 n Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.. R8 |5 `& E" r7 R f% p" r
 Completing required paperwork.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. Y! e' m: P& c2 P/ H& o; K
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

K$ j+ u9 ]/ M7 J Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience. j0 u( i7 j6 E. T, ~5 q
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.& H% K/ [& ]1 ~7 A+ v; L& b" R4 F
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
1 ]9 G7 }: b8 O Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.+ e$ U3 ~5 T1 y4 m" x/ T% {
 Knowledge of community resources.
) [$ @( Z4 H8 J Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.' B6 O* g2 G. d( v
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. 2 a& b2 j/ H% v; {2 w

( w: @4 w! S5 Q0 _This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50; 5 d% U/ o, w. X; n' E& _
