•        Process research equipment design;
8 g, {! Y  v+ t* [9 O7 ~; E( @0 [•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
8 J* v% g4 g  T. [  F* O•        Others.

Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
2 ]! D2 k& O9 p/ C; S•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
" t! n0 `, u9 h7 _1 |" J8 H6 q•        Familiar with CAD software;
* H% [, [4 Q, }& M2 k•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

8 D% f+ W: ]' ?7 c, o0 vSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
