Major Responsibilities:
$ ?$ w1 J, h/ n* M. {/ C•        Process research equipment design;
/ h4 ]4 e) `) S/ s  r•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
2 D9 C" k7 f8 U/ {•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
5 N8 {2 e& C1 A' H% @•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

4 q* r! g- k7 mQualifications:
! @+ X5 w& L& B0 H2 S" o4 w6 q•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
8 M5 g6 }: Q. R# X•        Equipment design experience is required;
* C( u0 g3 I" D/ @•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
' m. S. n. Q6 M/ c•        Familiar with CAD software;
: \) O9 y) T- M•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
2 ]% z1 S4 t# V% d( y# c: L' zSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
