The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. $ e. T0 x/ T/ |8 c
9 K/ |6 g6 S2 zThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

- z! j& s J' J5 Q* T4 W$ @ F% s9 e• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
4 h% {* [ [- f1 \( }4 M8 z6 z" p• Answer multi line telephone system5 ?# }! N: V/ T

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
f, n9 v$ ?; D1 O/ h• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits! S/ X; b- h9 O- F
• Input and manage high volume of data
5 c0 S# s' t% r1 Y0 C: |. C ~• Update and maintain databases
- O6 {; \# E9 ]! i• Generate monthly reports and statistics
6 I/ D' D1 i( R0 F, s• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
* i9 e/ k F) [* J! d+ z5 X+ u• Process payments and complete weekly deposits4 G5 [$ D; b( Z8 n: V: m
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms' Z9 N) A i3 J. t4 y& h
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors1 v$ ?7 @# S# S, A7 J
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre

Qualifications:; d# N& s p; h' T0 v2 h
; M; T+ t7 z, k, G C2 d• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
! C4 m- L$ J7 U4 n• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS % w5 W1 H! k9 u7 a! V5 t
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills# Z5 \. Z9 D8 B4 F' p" ?
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work1 X3 C+ r I. R$ V7 |# J9 z2 p6 }
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population4 I. b. F1 V, q* [: M
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
