The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.. _: i0 N- w+ c

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required- K: B; w8 Y% n
• Answer multi line telephone system+ H! C( t m: k7 Y; V: s" n* e- V
0 k+ b" M1 d6 I- T; TAdministration:- f* F& n, L, ?4 ]7 @/ m! b
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
; n3 C9 W' A/ s0 [* N• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
8 |( G1 H$ R' S# v• Input and manage high volume of data
0 T& J. H$ J2 D4 Z• Update and maintain databases
V8 M E ~ c$ ~' G+ j• Generate monthly reports and statistics
- Z4 z5 U/ F$ M% j5 f) G% s• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation: ^; t% d5 F+ n; O2 I
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits9 I# V* K' Q5 |9 [
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
# L% h; G9 g6 F, ]' j• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
7 N4 \1 h( b/ t2 t$ ]- x• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
, l0 a9 u7 y* p• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure7 A/ Z' B/ D8 j1 M; F G( H5 b
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ; {& @$ H" K8 M, Q! N* g9 [
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills7 ~7 i8 V; ^% p' T' B5 [, B* _# v" N
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work' I/ T0 N2 J' d1 I7 n
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population k% p% T* E$ ~7 s, Q/ c' c
• Strong customer service skills
