The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. . Q+ A7 u. s# s6 i/ U0 G
/ ~. l: f! c) Y* @$ D# U2 X4 ^This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.& V& v( F) Q3 P' g

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required* X, p9 Y0 ?, w9 c
• Answer multi line telephone system7 m* [/ m1 K6 P" a$ Z9 _' q1 V% w# d
% d7 {; t) y0 w& U* jAdministration:" Q# e! S1 _) ~( u) r
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads: W) I ~# _6 r! V) g
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
4 e( J9 O' o: N' A, e• Input and manage high volume of data( z! M2 r1 M' U! z
• Update and maintain databases
% r: N5 {! X3 D& p9 S' y; b& k3 j• Generate monthly reports and statistics; s. O3 t8 _5 v E& h, H# `
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation* Y% J( [3 {9 W7 y) k" Q+ r; }
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
+ V2 m, Z5 H& Y- d! s• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
& e4 w2 H& P6 H; u7 Z• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
9 q6 r$ Q; A* Z% X5 }$ P$ H' [• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre7 D& b; i+ R1 d5 K6 _
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

) K! v3 B# x) R: m+ q• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
& U: V x3 F5 {" f J8 j• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ( ^6 A# H$ t. S) U
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills/ m$ Y3 f0 P/ B8 n' ]
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work! {. Q& x# E6 S. ]1 B4 Y
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
