The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

5 t! k, u; p' w& r9 ~This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required5 e+ \1 P) z( N- j8 \
• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:
" ]" V( |/ g1 V" Y' L5 v• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads3 O6 U5 Y1 K* M5 |3 n
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits8 |$ A" O' ]. R" O3 w/ ~' i9 }
• Input and manage high volume of data7 Q: V. ]& B- g. }) G0 W
• Update and maintain databases% i% h% F2 M$ e3 ]$ w% p& o$ a
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
) p( G$ F6 x2 ?( ~: b; s• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
0 q) R- t& {) d• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
1 q: Z4 ]& j5 T* F3 p• Write and revise business correspondence and forms* {) R) {% B* H: i
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
O* ^1 i# W( u1 J0 Q, @- {* e• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre- w3 m, }& {$ m9 @6 R
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

0 e# a' r) x9 y' M• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure j9 \1 R- n. N5 d2 i# i$ E* N
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 5 m# R* z1 f3 O9 I$ V
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
& J, n. m0 P& v/ h1 ~ n8 m* s• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
3 ~. A2 m; D: G) _• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
