The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ; b% S; u. B1 E5 g. o% \

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.4 s7 N' f/ c+ P

Job Responsibilities:

Reception:$ x$ @( `4 u3 F- G
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
0 F$ c1 I9 U2 \6 e# _• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits8 p) i4 T4 l/ m! h- c, v" V! D
• Input and manage high volume of data {$ v y/ v9 L" ^
• Update and maintain databases
* b U# I) g+ q, T- I$ t9 F• Generate monthly reports and statistics
3 _& |( M6 `% a) |9 m. x• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation# _ Q. `( | R" x) K& Q+ U( ~
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
q3 I) u. ?" W6 }. |% N) I• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
3 u) q9 j! `4 r$ I! E* z/ f6 k• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

! d' }* x, a, Y( o2 Y• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure2 i- T0 \ W, Y( }! d
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS

• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work8 b. z2 X% C/ a' R i8 B* H2 K; s/ ]
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities
