" G) O9 v9 ?$ B; C! r& H* d& b( T Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth. [( A% T' t! m9 B2 y% Z/ N
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
) _ I& p5 M( f6 M$ O/ p5 ~4 R Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth. p, Z% z5 A* _& @+ J+ Q
 Completing required paperwork.1 z g+ L; S$ q+ `2 ~# k; C
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.$ y) t4 h0 J! |+ u0 b, }
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

. X, w# {: S* u- V Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.+ A4 F* k/ B1 Y3 M3 }
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.. t. w4 ~3 w* p! }
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.4 p! j' u* ?5 w
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
+ z7 V, W. n: K9 d Knowledge of community resources.. y+ F, S {; i1 _8 G
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.$ Y6 t2 _: u- G
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50; ) ?% Y8 w: y1 s4 [/ K9 O- v
