2 E( G8 p+ w( t4 w Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
7 v+ n4 Q9 ?2 P: E) s Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
4 v0 [" U2 c* Y8 N6 R$ d$ G Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
0 A# i2 D$ ~3 C% n0 F4 O2 w4 I Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.5 C* n$ L ]/ y U' \* {" ?# B/ X
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. , ]0 Q3 J5 P- q$ ^; ]
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
- t# q$ v$ E" p- M( Q Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
2 s& R/ P) _- h/ ~' |4 m. z1 n$ `5 t7 `% ?+ g
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.7 R! {. Q6 J( s, X: @/ J% E2 m
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.: E9 b! E$ _5 w) A3 Q l6 o ?4 y$ E: m
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
6 D1 \: K& x/ H! P Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
! B+ J3 a' s+ E5 E Knowledge of community resources., z5 H, j7 L: w3 V5 _9 I; U. T
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance./ w% k' R3 d' v! r5 o
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. " J9 c# X/ L6 D3 ]

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
