6 g0 o" M1 u  n7 G' M Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
# b$ ]- X9 R8 H2 i; ?8 j Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
5 `1 ^5 W- D$ E: w& L* H Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
5 I2 q' i1 R& ]* w6 U! } Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
2 X0 P$ f# _2 g+ j6 |/ B' I, j Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.


Qualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
5 W# ?) ^0 k7 T4 C) V Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
; o! a" Z* c& U) F Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
$ J" r: W. t5 n+ RThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
" \: ^! i% T' z2 n6 N+ @There is a 3-month probationary period.
