 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.5 v+ J$ s& L$ l; t. U% @
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.+ U4 h) z( C5 x' _# w" P/ x
 Completing required paperwork.% p) D l- n+ O9 H, f
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.0 ?; y- \: N1 b9 f" n& X
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.# _. i2 W8 q# o3 e! A2 ~
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.9 C# O/ Z1 a* ]: N; K2 t r3 e7 m
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
5 W# ?) ^0 k7 T4 C) V Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.# k3 N6 n) Q1 r. m2 j) T
 Knowledge of community resources.1 A: B4 ^! V5 O: [7 {: p# ~
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
; o! a" Z* c& U) F Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. " ^/ Q. J: g& B, _! a7 q# X

Position:
$ J" r: W. t5 n+ RThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
