Responsibilities
1 t6 A) v5 Y4 S4 S- D4 Z# f■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
* r, }5 c- H6 V M E7 B■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects./ d) v$ \- K% M6 U9 t$ t9 f
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships) K$ j% y( ?, a5 n
Experience and Education:
! b/ _' Y/ [; l+ w7 H■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.9 h& X+ i3 D1 ^9 I: ~- c8 p
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
" h4 o- k" w/ L8 e1 ^■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.% Q% `$ t" D A( S" j7 d
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;5 W/ H* t% E t8 s: g% M! @' h7 ?
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
" s/ x' b0 R& K■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices. s- t) N3 W3 L( i
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
& J9 x" D2 K1 [/ ^) F■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
