Responsibilities3 z) k/ c& V9 q# _5 N' Z, J
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
U! ]! a; M+ K! E) Z" V) U■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
# K' ^! M- e# e+ }* c7 [5 u t■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
) A) q& Q C" J3 tExperience and Education:
H; D" Y. p; N' I■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
3 Q4 ?# S9 K, b' e■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
# v. Z* y! X7 L7 _■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
, ~+ o3 @8 [: d; Z2 A7 L■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;2 v/ g! c9 @* J( y4 z/ d: J( `
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
1 K N2 Y8 I6 y O6 S* D: B; M2 M2 D■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.4 v! O5 a% h: T! g! D+ f# ]
