■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.- t& G& d+ p. T1 m) n1 o
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.) L C: Q& ]5 Y; G2 A' g
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships9 Z, {# X0 f1 r D
Experience and Education:8 q( S% u9 L% g9 [
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.0 Z$ J6 i* ~6 ^6 g Y5 [
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.( f D& P j# b% r" a0 k; L
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
& z$ e' [. S$ J. [$ j' G; x$ x■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
# T$ |5 i9 t1 G, Q■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
4 [" ?! p9 G' |■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.- c8 D1 K& ^4 L- w' n- S
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
