■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
: {& F2 Y! F6 c& j7 _■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.0 R2 o6 `# S% Y
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships; u9 ]6 c* k/ z5 N- z: S
Experience and Education:
. }, F0 j7 e8 B6 C■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.! \) h) S9 O( v) D8 q1 g% M
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing./ g7 g# ?6 |. n8 o; L
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.( @& Z) Y% [' Z
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;. }% ^1 i/ y+ n# H
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;' u4 M" o* X/ V; S3 F
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices./ _& Y- J: M3 F* l) V' ]
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
