Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
% V8 P1 w0 p. @" Z■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.' u- \# ~0 j0 O* n- Z" j+ P
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.# }. h' M$ |$ ]* R6 Z7 }" R \
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships: B1 }4 x7 n' h8 `
Experience and Education:
3 S6 l9 Z7 K% F; b5 I( i5 Y■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.% i: i: _2 H2 I
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
) z1 v. W) [* W0 x■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.$ \. w6 G1 P: W
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
. \' Y' g& W: m1 t2 K. v! \6 \2 U/ z■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
, j9 U8 e! R* r& E■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.) q2 |) E$ f+ w" b/ H3 a) J( T
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
