Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities, m: m9 T' E* }' k, o3 p
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
$ i r8 ?2 s4 B- i) e) }; ~- U■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
- V+ u# C! P D5 ~: B■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
% P8 I6 p& o7 G# e, M9 h7 `6 \" YExperience and Education:
# Z( ?, t. s* ^) V o! D! j■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.6 |% D; A/ f1 |9 t
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.7 q8 M- r; n9 {
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
3 f5 ?* }% M, N; T# g% G2 W8 [■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
H! l2 N5 q8 P1 G- p R* h* z■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;( a" Q! F' y' s; W! X
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.9 l# [' F2 i4 x2 e }
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.! y" \$ D, o/ F" Q
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.0 F s. U4 z$ }$ O, T% t7 P
