Responsibilities
" A7 W# o; Z0 g& V# F' }3 z9 O■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.3 {( f9 R. c$ M/ c* {
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.4 b9 R' v. c' k9 O0 k: m5 C
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships/ ?3 P# {7 t3 ]/ i3 U
Experience and Education:
2 L$ _7 j# Y3 I■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
; L- R: n9 n5 u$ _" s& Z+ f4 m9 M■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
# e( G+ F" p0 `5 H# |' U■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.9 u( v3 o! R$ S% F
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
6 T ^% P, ~# S8 b■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
' |4 w: F, Y } N. B1 x5 j m$ \( e■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.+ P3 ^1 [8 A6 U
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing. f9 N0 o; H6 }+ s% q& h
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
