Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
( ^7 S7 d8 I: B2 Z! Y9 E- y■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
9 S7 \. J; L. u, y- k■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
! g9 B4 T- `  j' C2 i) WExperience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
3 d' Q5 i8 `. X7 z1 b% Z6 \■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
5 Q8 f6 E1 ]* o6 C2 \■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
5 c3 ^$ D1 U6 r$ a0 h2 j■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
