Responsibilities7 e- b- x( F/ B
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.3 W; p9 q( f, i: c2 A+ S
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.$ v$ ~2 v, J3 Z/ i9 n
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships) A0 ~; @+ S ^
Experience and Education:5 k7 I0 c1 q' O" p/ E8 `- |" t
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.. ^/ o4 m% S" z* d2 ~! k. M2 u6 Y
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
: X: G- b7 r" P' j■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset." n2 m3 d, H5 Y' u
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;' v! o: b* k/ f5 n: n! w6 p
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
- ^) Z# D [# ?/ L5 v■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.; }7 T" V' H/ r# G2 r& G. b
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
