Responsibilities7 \% F2 D( {- d g# y# A' h
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.% }5 Y( F7 j5 D. R0 ^6 @% ^! B
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
6 h+ y! z6 J' }1 }9 s■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships$ }( \8 `. c5 ]: N& x( E. v& ~$ z9 t
Experience and Education:% X% N- q) ~% ~* `/ g8 F! [ H; R
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.1 ?! T/ Z3 Q, _/ ~3 D
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
; }' q9 v3 t% |1 N- u7 E■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.0 @. r% k' j8 {& d
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
8 e: J* {3 |$ y1 g& ^. \■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;6 B4 r9 X! m( T# _5 j; B/ {% @. }
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.& y& l9 Q% X' Y- Z, y
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
