Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
1 Q( h& M0 F4 |7 n: |■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
* ?" ?3 h# W5 A7 m6 ~1 @) g■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
3 n+ e, ~. {# c& ^■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
+ u3 o8 S% c, t6 n; i3 L4 S■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
" x& j4 m# }  j. H# f0 @3 @■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.

No. But they need a material testing technician too. Could you do that?
