Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities* `$ ~* F4 X. k+ k6 \0 @9 g+ C: u
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.0 x+ t( b3 Q) n7 u/ J
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.

Experience and Education:
& B( v: l' l! @" [: f: H■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
, X! S0 s6 x. D6 ]! t3 e* |■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.4 L* ~5 B- E! {- F; ]0 s
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.! c3 i% B5 o4 }+ O1 K( @
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;% T' p5 ~4 @6 s/ h! e
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
+ s- ^) V8 D6 `; p' Z1 C# T" p■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
# Z5 a+ e" k/ \* y1 i2 q■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.( l0 t w& {* R) M/ ?9 G
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
