Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

! L. _# g; X) _- g# ~■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
* O1 _3 @9 m+ e* p) Z$ S/ T■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
3 e0 n1 _: \) @; b+ a2 E* ?& e■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
) S( x0 p' E( M: W/ N■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
* K/ ]# a  _1 M# E3 ?6 H■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
( u. ~7 W) W$ N3 Y* W, o■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
( f5 B% Z) Y; r+ ?; @' j■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
