Responsibilities
7 z5 C4 o/ r6 {! A1 g/ F" _4 X■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.3 R6 T. j' i. }" ]9 K% \
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.; l q$ F, y4 {1 [
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships, i3 }) T" }+ H! ^' }! D% @
Experience and Education:
4 q2 }) {' m# L6 D$ a- j■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.- N B# F2 @; s, c! q: H
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
" N. H# x5 t; |; E+ Q3 T■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
6 M& O6 a- y3 I) \9 k■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
! ]6 V& g R0 w, D- w* p, t■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;/ A2 Q4 i3 a+ ~0 I0 `+ I
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
; [& \/ k0 b4 B) J■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
