Responsibilities
/ S" A: w+ K3 Q- K2 x3 k■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.! x- \# v a: ]5 W+ g$ M3 F5 e
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.# p) Z) N' [# `2 I( B
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
6 g W6 X1 X& _Experience and Education:- n1 p7 a; d, l7 b% W5 U X& p
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable." g& J+ P. Y4 V/ m1 o* {! D4 \- s
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.' `$ b5 r6 y) N0 N4 W3 }
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.4 o, t7 u( u* _; g; J
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
( [% w& _" ` G+ E+ V; o( q3 k& t2 i■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
' f+ i9 u4 H" a■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
' ^6 [& r' h3 O8 q■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.( ?8 h! U: |$ G2 n
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
