■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.6 d+ i. @+ O6 A, A. l% T
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
& i6 I& D, {& u' B) m■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships7 I$ _2 z2 u0 Y7 H/ ?& {, X; l
Experience and Education:9 n* j; T5 f8 X9 I# x( q1 q" m% }
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
* z/ W% {& d4 I5 H% _; g■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
0 N# i7 ?- _, o: }. a7 }. s■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.! h7 e1 ^ K$ q1 M, P6 A
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
7 J; C0 g. K; V! Q■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;* a, u6 \$ C0 x" |; b. s7 Z% x
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.+ k3 B% B0 H' Q- E! v* p
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
