( }5 q6 x, d- m$ _■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.4 W* j$ p p" p1 ]
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.! a. R2 A# L7 \& ~0 E6 s1 j6 ]; b9 j
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships* P; J' @( B, V- G$ I H
Experience and Education:
) T8 f) g I/ `+ @' d( D■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
9 ]. R( ]8 R5 C3 f& c, J■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.$ _$ T8 F3 t! p% L% E9 V/ I
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.% m/ ]6 A; H4 \
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;7 R$ Z$ s& n1 J: J9 ~9 k, L7 ^ o
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
# N* S; ~! m* n. e8 w■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
Y. v) m% n" g% @6 d■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
