Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
7 Z0 f8 }9 {% p■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations. o; V# }: Z: ]2 S6 r9 C" W9 X
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.# M7 J8 O1 N# h+ `
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
4 w6 M+ K( R8 b9 J: WExperience and Education:
/ q: z2 A# l1 q/ s, Q■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
9 K1 [/ M- M& A( W7 x5 Y( Z F" g, V■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
" i9 z7 S7 k+ N% r% j8 L9 k■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
* W, v! O3 o* H. K+ j& G8 H7 O0 A. Y! R■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
; f- c7 R. V7 s" T( C2 M! R- d■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
# C9 g1 Z2 k3 p■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
" x9 w8 q- r6 s2 W) B■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
* B2 a& d5 E# W2 v, J& e■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
