Responsibilities
2 {+ w4 w$ v+ C7 i! U0 u■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.' v: `2 b: F% J
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
2 @1 Q0 q6 `$ ]2 M: e! N■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships" D+ d4 ]3 z0 W& f: v. B2 f
Experience and Education:
. h9 e2 z" p$ E. W* H■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.- P8 t& M/ N0 p3 |
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.; _. I: p" s5 ~- L3 Y
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.+ m+ J0 G7 y- r' D
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
# N0 H0 k/ ~1 v8 k+ g; @■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
! g5 R, O0 v l8 K/ H■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
0 K, E/ M1 X5 a/ n' q3 }- D■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
