Responsibilities
0 M# a- Q: K8 \■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
) x# H# p( ^5 X! m■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.1 Z2 {6 w+ T) i/ D: g
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
# Y; Z# T7 y5 m! Q% P( v9 ^Experience and Education:
. P4 ~1 d8 x# a! A, A■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
0 M3 u: Q4 G/ u3 y: C& D" d■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.- G' J- M% T' y6 g% F# M' W% u
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
, W8 F8 j1 W# n■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;. s2 |, k1 P0 D* [5 h
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects; j4 w$ p8 C5 n4 t$ ~- I
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.3 O, h5 U$ E( }2 S* v* k$ {
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
