/ `& t. C  }9 _: v' g■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
2 Y; |, r' S/ @9 [( A) M, R3 }* {+ dExperience and Education:
# r# Z. n  a/ x1 ~4 ~% I+ X8 w■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
/ m$ T- S6 v' q# }5 u% `2 U( e' `# |■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
3 O( t  h# T9 g! C% B. Q■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
8 f/ E* l7 x  Z3 [* N■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
$ H! }5 L" o5 h# b■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
9 S/ g' P$ Q7 Z. W  D- c# hKey Traits:
■Marketing skills,
■Self motivation,
■Communication skill,
■Client liaison and business development skills, and
' g9 S& ]+ w% q6 Z0 n% L- Q& m■Geotechnical expertise with in-depth knowledge and experience of geotechnical investigations and solutions,
■Ability to travel on a periodic basis.
