Responsibilities* r. ?3 r1 [( Y# o6 e7 E; G7 P' r- ~
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.+ l1 `6 [8 n; \ c
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
9 d; a! z h/ p0 j- ^5 K) W■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships o# p* _- P; D
Experience and Education:# H# G9 p _ Y8 H
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable., a c- Z5 v. f1 D" ?( P( p/ O
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
9 {( A4 c+ r; S■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.. C" c" R* N; P) ~- C
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
) R% B# s# u ]( N5 G3 @. n" T& t■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
( t/ I. y3 h/ D8 Y- _( T■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.( [9 x1 s/ z6 z8 _
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
