Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
' A# X% G' B4 x0 b' K3 ~/ t■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
" Y1 y2 W: H7 E1 _■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
6 x, E3 L3 O( @+ C% \6 I+ I8 A■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
$ D. W9 t$ \, b  T■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
/ R; J( k$ g* e/ U■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
