Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
6 u+ v1 X7 j+ m( S■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
/ i$ n. _0 k& q7 s■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
3 S1 V$ o( a8 y6 qExperience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
! ?$ W6 }# Y. V! h- ^7 t■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
0 I% K' U- V  E2 Q$ k6 l( j, }■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
1 b+ }7 _$ C. s/ v, |■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
