Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
( q; a# \. ~% W/ ~■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.; T: s, j5 q" @7 A$ h
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
7 j) w& I2 y8 g■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
' d9 f2 l; I; ] hExperience and Education:. b- j. ^0 T6 h$ j( i/ I* k ^
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
9 ^; a) J4 ], F■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
9 [/ a. F9 w4 i1 ^: `! I■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
k# e1 I: Z" g7 {. P■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
: }6 k1 r6 M/ q& p■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
2 @& C1 O3 H V2 o4 e■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
