Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
1 L, h7 [+ K; j9 P: h9 I7 Y■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
( [5 H/ j0 x3 V! k' {* u4 B) d■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
+ u3 C  e2 v0 }- E* k■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
0 p% c  `7 ^/ @■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
# G' P/ f  F( h# F% ~2 t% L& C: o. |■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
( ]( X2 v" t' m0 m1 M4 [) q5 c! L9 f■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
+ ?  Z' _& {* v5 j9 G/ k1 I6 c■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.

■Ability to travel on a periodic basis.
