■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.: ]4 l6 [6 Z1 Z
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships8 N. P* D) h2 Q; V
Experience and Education:
1 z# ^) I( R3 y2 h5 t+ w4 ~■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
- D5 R. M5 L- T; X! k' _8 c1 Y■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.7 C, Y! i9 {( K( p' V
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.: A. c7 Z$ M. S# j
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
5 } D( _0 W/ W" A+ ^& u+ H8 u■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
6 m+ _# ^: ]0 _# N# p+ G■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.% c3 w' f" s* h' ~
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.8 Z3 o. b# O: B1 q1 G# p
