Responsibilities
" U; X# X* ~3 h# W# T■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
9 t; _" L) a! X6 [" X■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects." L8 E# x: t& y: A
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships$ x. p9 e0 D, f) E3 D9 I
Experience and Education:
, |4 o4 U( c$ s7 C% z# [; i9 d■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.. z) G; m9 U* a3 j* ^
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.: o5 J4 b$ f/ k4 N
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
; t* X- U$ g- D8 c$ o& }■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;- }1 L/ l& @, I' `% j
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
1 W+ r* c p+ \/ y: r) ~■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
0 z: ]; d! h& }+ Y■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
