■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.* Q2 r" X) z( s# X9 }, [! e. w& P
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
( f5 M; u, H# r4 z$ n- x" U2 z$ d■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
o, U& ]: ^& x/ ~, zExperience and Education:, t- c# V* @6 ~ k& L K
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
) H2 Q# v( N+ ?4 B# E■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
3 j! t% n2 h$ Y7 c■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
. b' c4 H" _* y% H■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
% v! K( R2 E) s1 t( h. v, ]6 I■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
: x* X9 k0 \8 r3 q3 k z■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.4 m3 x% h$ D9 u) x1 z
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
