Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities1 R) F, h7 I) B. Y1 {) B
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.% E0 b$ E' m; V i: s; d R
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.0 E c) c7 ^0 @/ V
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
& |' x- V4 f" @1 z4 m% b6 cExperience and Education:" l5 G$ {- C; }8 x+ T3 G$ g% X: K, O
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.

■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset./ W4 s. Q; `/ ^! T" f- b: t6 N4 M
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
$ }% V3 i9 Q; e& U- F8 J■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;9 I( e- S1 U7 A: n, Q3 p, D
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
. i, R7 S2 M* O4 J■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
