Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.6 @+ Y* f! b {* V+ S1 v

Responsibilities
" C) H5 n$ b3 J) W■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
8 o: A( _* N) i# I8 j■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.' x) ~6 W) @/ _8 ~# J9 `+ R/ O
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships Y: N: u( c7 H
Experience and Education:
" ^( ?+ O' K+ R■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
) e0 m( e% S# N' L# L■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
; |3 C+ D) G* ]$ G1 {; h7 \■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
: ^/ ]: P0 b# j7 ^■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
. {6 V$ W, i5 n; K- k! C' G■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;" @: X/ I% q; ?0 {, ]' p
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
; C- z2 W: O1 X/ Z: W■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.! h1 c7 x4 M$ I% P
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.* v8 ] { r% D1 M' c/ }3 E
