Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

* h) z# a7 n; ]& x6 E■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
7 A" S/ s! x! x, eExperience and Education:
8 `) c1 m4 z' b7 C0 r/ _2 d4 j■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
* }; X3 U% v+ e/ I: c5 N/ ~■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
* z8 O! U% B) p% ?# q■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
1 ~3 L( O2 F8 s■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
