Responsibilities
9 A* W' o1 ~# `) q* ?0 m■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.$ Z; c2 q% {, o
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
. ^$ v0 e( R, Q3 @0 B) |■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships* m8 E% ?- _3 m9 X( v! {* Y( W
Experience and Education:
9 t* F- `8 ~: b5 I3 s. N■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
/ K% f) }0 I4 v■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.! ^6 V# E2 T1 E+ y
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
1 Y0 Z: z! @/ S4 ]5 n' P■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;/ I8 K$ d+ {. g/ z
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;% [7 E C. ^* {- _$ k
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.* W) |: k4 W: _. `+ H8 x
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.* _) i* A& c) c# V$ }4 U& r
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.% p4 c& R$ B& x0 Z6 ~
