Responsibilities
4 q! Q, Z8 d( Q, a$ W■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.: A* _8 T9 ~9 A
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.. ^ S4 o+ a9 x: C4 R
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships0 I( Z ~' L) S6 S' U
Experience and Education:& w* y9 y2 t9 w7 }+ H" G8 |) P
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.5 G$ \, E4 E4 Q0 G
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
0 Q. R9 ~* k( U+ \8 B% M' d! V■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.6 ^4 K/ j2 a& n8 }2 z
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
+ X9 l& e3 K' \# r! q9 x1 I■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
4 ?- ^8 ?) U6 ?* p# }/ `■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
) }$ p) E Y7 o2 O1 D2 M+ u■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
