■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
. Q# G9 d& D! b% @2 b( g; B■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.; Y' ^, E; G9 e* b& Q9 {, o
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships9 E7 y; r9 f2 E2 ?* r
Experience and Education:3 W5 {8 ]: C$ j2 Y
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
" l) Z/ C" G( O7 W9 G" C4 V$ c■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
# f" J i1 o" z■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.) Q7 a+ X9 j& }' I% a% p+ {0 x2 o
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;; Z$ ^) R0 t( r5 T' z
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
# }" g9 @1 Z3 k h1 a■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
! @9 }- v9 p L+ b) ~2 u■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
