■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.- @& T7 i6 Z) x3 b
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.% D% D$ s' \ y9 d0 H5 f
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships0 p- b' V0 T' Y1 j1 ~0 ]# y
Experience and Education:7 v | j/ O) X
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
2 f( Q* Y8 k# G3 J! k0 {■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.4 }3 r" j5 O; v0 E/ O1 p' B1 t
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.( ?9 Z0 N& u0 n/ Q8 P
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;/ [. z: W. Y0 @2 }- F/ o4 I- B* d
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
6 K$ g" O/ ^8 v■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices. B! M( @4 ~ _ H) H7 E5 a
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.) k6 T4 M$ ]; x$ ^: z' A# W H
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.$ L! [# A5 z4 C) J5 b, \% f+ P
