■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
: m, C% v- L# T; g) t$ h■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
3 x# W* ^1 Q5 D( X/ c■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships; H! A! Z3 e: T0 F
Experience and Education:" N& D1 N% g6 S+ V8 D
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.- u: y7 E/ J1 _3 e
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
% M- p5 Q# S3 z0 v$ G8 ^8 d! L* X, d■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.4 U; }5 I1 L* a$ I0 ]
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;: o. g/ b; X% C4 C. r5 b" z! T7 z
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
( q3 ]' a8 L! _- v8 {3 x, _8 V■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.* o& `. {: a0 b5 z# y& z
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.. \2 q$ S* o, x1 s; d
