■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
0 H+ B9 j& y' i- m1 h" ~■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
& p0 ?* g6 _8 {4 Y# s■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships4 x. k0 B: _6 E C
Experience and Education:$ r# K1 I" `4 l" E b% g
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.! I" n, d# S2 c; `3 W. c' c
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.& v- p+ Y. o( F" N' s! C& b7 \
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.; q. |1 @6 J3 w2 |( k3 Z1 k2 t% F
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;' H6 N6 f6 N+ P2 M P# i: n
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
' l$ p4 `# V, L0 O7 A) J. e Q■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.# U/ o% ]( _2 H; J- B! z
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
