Responsibilities
# c0 ~: l4 c/ g8 X9 K4 q0 t■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
: n: X9 g6 n- c5 i: ~4 r! C& o■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.* f# X; S. J$ b
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
- |2 E" R# m n3 u0 ?% R! o& EExperience and Education:/ E. W# J7 ~* N. v* V
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
, ?/ ]# N- P/ C a/ O; n■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing., V& S4 |9 G/ ~; b6 Z5 r
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.* z) T/ t+ ? J- `4 C- w+ V
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;2 H* ~9 j$ b i, K) G- ?
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;1 D- G# j6 k1 R2 N% r
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
. W2 [ [9 S% s7 o■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
