Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
; [7 L( g7 p/ g& E/ k) C3 l7 v8 M■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
# Q. g5 z( `9 @- u" H% X6 k8 X. b" u■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.! `9 r }7 C- |! I o! w% g( }$ x! `
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships: g" A* K/ k- }& H5 u
Experience and Education:" u. q: r; r$ s& {6 z! T; P+ n
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
% q# ~$ W1 |8 s7 r% T2 H■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.8 ~& T. f& g, @9 V, N' |: q
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
7 n) G0 k8 r0 s■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;2 Y7 M8 J4 s1 I! M' o3 ~/ N
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;3 F0 L* d4 ?0 w, e
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
9 U4 V: n; _3 {; V■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
