Responsibilities
+ a4 A& i2 R* f) A9 [( o■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
) B2 T/ k5 a) ?& I) R* V■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.) f* U: F; M' J7 k) z
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
% K* P7 b+ J, u" Q- G) s/ O$ DExperience and Education:
0 ?( Z" \8 e( I) L$ C■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
. F$ x# S8 X+ {& C" c■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
# T3 r7 J; t- H, Q■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
# l8 O1 n& Y1 c+ Q' g7 G■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;9 D. W0 Q/ j, T7 X j
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;5 x k1 B* X+ W) H. l3 q# I7 j
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.. o, S) H6 R) G, I. z
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing." Z% }5 h; |: X/ F
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.. f" o$ x- f$ c9 v! t& A0 u
