Responsibilities
8 J+ O: p, U# ^2 s0 `+ e+ F9 A; X■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
; n4 i- ]- |7 `" ^. k0 z■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
$ Z; H4 Q" \+ l6 O9 ]3 a9 j0 u■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
- \1 k3 c/ |3 [- pExperience and Education:
0 g1 z2 r% K0 _: ]$ ?■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
2 }5 b; D2 o1 ?; t■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
: G0 N& E1 z' K7 h/ E2 n■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
; U6 G$ s7 r8 }■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
