Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
! g* m* T. i2 Y) ~: Y. n■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
6 @0 c" }- Q$ F) H$ n■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.; X1 o8 b$ R1 b( R2 a
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
; h) {' q" Q. e: e- E, w) ]: ^5 b. rExperience and Education:( Q2 J' q6 h0 N' E/ Z. V; E
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.6 r' e& d% R4 f+ i4 \/ ?9 v
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.& ^0 w( u/ E4 U) N# U
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
. f! @7 M* P3 o7 ~■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
9 a' s2 J. C5 K■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
$ A$ d6 s& I8 E. q■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
0 W ~. L" X) K0 D* V0 ]/ E■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
& a" Q! \6 D% j' T0 ` s■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
