Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

; g6 X/ e- \& Q7 R. f+ zResponsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
" I4 A# d* U* ~* S. v7 j0 D9 z: o■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
. k# u% o8 R: }: B( B0 F5 z' NExperience and Education:
' J. d- D7 v! X) _/ P■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
2 m* U. z2 d9 V2 P1 y. t6 v' z■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
- u( n+ ~; p/ g. f9 G■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
