Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
' z. I# f8 r" G0 o# [  o■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
% R9 \7 s; D1 D; Y$ S■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
' c7 h/ T; j  \' y2 J■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
3 H: m7 }1 d3 n; o■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
( C4 B# `( h) \: t. Q* c/ ?■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
