1 P" S! }7 e& r' O1 [0 l■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.0 ~/ L2 [. ?8 F# I* C d& z+ |/ O
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
/ g9 S5 b$ E. a" X7 y4 \■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
: ^0 l! p: |) ~* @& F7 i DExperience and Education:
& d7 S8 z m m. a■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
6 W" m" z5 l: z! `$ a/ A& T■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
* x- H% I8 i2 x; L% O■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.; [& l$ @+ u7 f
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;; s( W) \/ l, I! E) k& P, _1 j
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
/ w/ O; n- o* E■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.0 I1 E) W% a: X+ u" l E
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.3 _1 U" }: _& V4 u) X) g9 D
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
