Responsibilities% K3 B3 S; B3 v; F
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.9 Y& C; l# X$ `6 [: T7 ^4 k. Z6 o
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
7 b* `; D1 X% D8 ?0 p$ a/ V5 ]■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
0 l3 l& P. B: Q; `5 I* K& PExperience and Education:
3 P) R) H# h) }■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.* ^. z9 z! k* _
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.) X) f# s0 D L" |) r3 o% }$ t/ I
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
' M* v0 W7 j' T" q, A& u■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
. d3 ~* A! o- Z- x! s) o■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
2 ?) J) }' Y/ D2 H■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices. E! Y, S+ d" e+ R0 Y
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
