Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

0 [4 g: z0 Q7 nResponsibilities
) l' X8 a% t3 T/ t% G) f* |■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
& p2 ~, B; B0 ^( E( W■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
( {. w" ^" O5 w* `: W5 e■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
, H" N# e3 j* f' G+ x7 j# f■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
8 t: N; p8 k6 l0 m$ I■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
) l1 f& i0 h5 v# V% l! W% P■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
