Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
0 P+ I& |; d1 Q0 S" L■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.0 n5 e' C3 D# x. i! G0 A
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
4 L7 p4 G- _; C1 U! u5 A% E■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
' m6 _! f) R# y7 j7 mExperience and Education:
, q( e* H" }" f% G- A■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
( I0 T- U/ }' b* J# Q1 E■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.% U( S0 z' n5 v/ H- }
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
: z+ W& P) @! H/ b. X, N- O. q# `■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
. _% S, H3 {0 w* A■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
! Z% i# t$ `' T■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.* S) q! u" {9 e9 C1 ^! m
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
