Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
9 m/ ^1 q) x$ q" T" J9 B/ b■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
/ p5 F& n1 q3 ~■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
$ y/ Q. g! E; T8 H$ v) t3 r■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
" ~, @+ X" _7 W; x2 Y6 m- [■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
