Responsibilities
! m3 ~5 W8 p8 l■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
& A/ K Q; \4 \0 ^% `3 b■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.* S5 O! M; j X6 T/ e7 T+ P
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
+ d) ?; c! P& ~: g! eExperience and Education:
2 Z; I# Z& z; d& ^■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
, y2 o2 g, W' D, x g7 B■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
2 Y- K6 j9 U% x7 ~% p# V■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset. n; r0 [7 r" c% z
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
( I/ K0 x" _8 h■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
( q& O/ K; H$ Z3 ^6 e ? n( o1 b; Z: Y■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
7 C; u( p) A9 h1 f) J5 F■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.* T9 I' g2 \# x1 b2 @- h2 i! r# B" n R) n
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
