移民签证时护照的有效期限

申请技术移民，今年7月初在edmonton体检，一直在等待。
  f6 h  E8 Q2 p# k前几天突然想起明年3月现在的护照就过期了
* r2 u7 v8 F( `$ z( D, C# ^( P请问如果近期收到passport request，寄去做移民签证的话，是否护照有效期必须是6个月以上呢？

应该不用的吧，没有哪个地方说护照有效期要有6个月的。

* @, l+ B; i& [5 t5 |$ ?* TWe require an original VALID passport for yourself and every accompanying family
3 l, o) K( T2 k, W2 G% s8 i6 Kmember. Passports for you and all accompanying family members should be submitted
together.
) a6 b# e9 `+ I  T5 ^: M/ Z! K
There must be at least two blank visa pages in each passport.

. T) U6 _; R: i: LIf there are children included in your passport there must be visa pages for them as well.

Please note: Immigrant visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military
