  Duties
' [9 W+ `7 }' @* v) `8 r: MAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
& e+ U8 s" n  j# S6 q- L3 EProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
' s" B8 W6 w. O7 H, t% n3 jPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
* P% U+ Q+ N. ~. A. C7 e+ @Performs related tasks as needed
' V7 m& M- Y$ H7 B$ ~( LQualifications
, B: }3 _6 o# T* T4 I; qDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
$ m/ O8 E3 v) l& D/ fKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail
