Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
" ~4 M% h+ v4 s* n5 s3 z% i# {Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
: D/ W. V: T# I3 w$ E0 dPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed( }7 k2 x# {- w) {( c
Performs related tasks as needed

$ p/ n' N( d8 H! E' o {' \Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
6 d/ }. B, k. x7 dDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
7 _" C1 h$ [ \" iSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset% w3 M. k5 ^6 Q9 C# z/ }2 v
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred& ^& \1 t$ u1 N! [
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
