  Duties
Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
9 D! S3 W& X3 {' e' _Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
0 [  D2 a& g# b2 nPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
% ~5 |  q: C; G, L" fPerforms related tasks as needed
Qualifications
0 c. _2 S! X2 `: r9 zDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
0 P. i; T  ?) X  `% C# kSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills; accuracy and attention to detail
