Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
7 `5 O9 J+ r! [Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required5 f0 b1 n* A1 ]4 f% x, A
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed- A1 o! E2 Z# ~6 }! t
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
9 N5 |5 O* O# \1 [# I5 EDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred+ P9 w, c+ F/ A% H% l
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset2 E. K/ B5 A) A4 b- X) T
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
