  Duties
( X* M2 d) P/ s9 `Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
2 `; d! \  ]3 z" Y' y* F. v; WObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
9 E7 h6 d" n4 J. c8 F* t; q2 LEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
7 w( ~) `  B7 B9 m9 z: Y$ @: }/ ]Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Qualifications
Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
8 I3 A* c5 A& n9 x( TTraining related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
Forklift operating certificate
