Duties
, n( ?0 q' _( A6 k4 t# ~" xDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
$ y0 n* ~4 d5 Q, ^' b. s$ d' wObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments$ Q! M* j$ ]* R T, d" h
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound3 j5 a, M; D- @6 C" ^
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead: i5 W2 \: V7 W; t2 U$ X7 B
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions8 o2 F( @0 A( h; {
Performs related duties as required

1 w* V6 ~) t9 u- i4 ]Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.: M4 p8 e7 L% c* l: E# j
High School diploma; previous driving experience required

Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
