  Duties
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
: F4 O, W8 }8 L8 G" W6 b2 SObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
" [9 G  G- C' e! K; _* r) vEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
/ y9 p; M' d8 z9 ?Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
9 v, D- Y# A/ B# Z. k& jOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
% }" P6 r6 W* [, M2 q: K* kPerforms related duties as required
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification

Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
