 Proactively and independently develop initiatives in ethno-cultural communities that
9 _+ `( b! H3 f* e+ s, oincrease their capacity to participate fully in the community
1 V7 C" x; ~% i5 }3 x Develop initiatives that convene stakeholders, community organizations, government agencies and foster collaborations between immigrant and main-stream stakeholders. & T: t. e* s7 f
 Proactively assist immigrant communities with: identifying needs, training, strategic planning, board development, project development, community economic development, funding proposal writing, program planning and implementation8 _4 b$ q. G1 k6 R# C. c
 Develop Community Economic Development initiatives and provide small business coaching to groups and individuals
0 N2 } E6 X* i a* q- A Facilitate group processes and workshops 1 N6 B% s2 y6 Y7 i& O) m9 s! x9 U
 Advocate for systemic changes that foster full participation of newcomers in the community

 Experience supervising staff& K* [: Q2 F! Z ` A8 I
 Understanding of cross-cultural issues

 Strong organizational and Program delivery skills
