A woman found slain in her Capilano bungalow was a pipefitter who had lived in the southside neighbourhood for a couple of years, say neighbours.4 g! A. |" U9 l7 d2 t% r
* t5 K, U. n" h2 F( xEdmonton police assured residents that they had no reason to be fearful, but officers did ask neighbours for their shoe sizes and vital stats during a canvass of the area.( w7 T2 V6 {; y7 h

‘Not too worried’

“We’ve never had anything like this happen around here,” said Marg, a senior citizen.

“We get the odd B-and-E and car theft around here, but other than that, not too much (crime),” she said.
