“They (police) asked us what size shoes we wore and how tall we were and our weight,” said a woman who lives across the street from the crime scene but didn’t want her name published.& ?& S1 T+ P& R

“It’s upsetting. But we’re not too worried,” she added, noting police told them that there “wasn’t anything for us to be concerned about.”

The woman was found slain inside the 1,200-square-foot home shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, said Edmonton police spokeswoman Lisa Sobchyshyn.

“We’ve never had anything like this happen around here,” said Marg, a senior citizen.
