Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
) H9 c9 |, n0 Z( Yplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal. r! M1 _# T& T8 n3 t% Z- T
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).3 U4 R b2 t' M1 P
7 g1 ]4 Q( J. G3 S- yTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit./ b* l) y+ D/ g5 B- f. T
* F @' [, b" [8 q5 W% E+ q9 L+ kJob Qualification
9 k. {9 e" D) P1 b+ U) P0 `* mMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services& o7 X# T* v0 H5 r
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
* q+ I( p5 k1 [/ z2 `% JSchool)
& E+ ? k% C4 O0 e3 l! s# RMust have supervisory experience. A0 S* Z8 e8 J! l
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system2 A1 [; f. \$ t* j$ j2 G
Must be computer literate
1 [; A) d9 X$ N. }4 {; pMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.8 b& F0 o) Y7 {& D* b, n7 o3 P+ }7 z, J& {
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network/ X5 V+ U2 M4 M9 d) p
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
; l6 G5 h" Q$ v. A- b' VMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
