Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team. W5 @& A# F! B( S
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
9 d+ w, T% z9 B' V4 }Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
. @& n% U+ Z* Z) m q9 R- Y* ?# K
( n& q. z8 e( D! c; L. f) p" yTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
: F9 Z* O8 V+ n4 A+ e8 A$ b: NMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
: J. Q7 c! F* b$ x8 l& jMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s6 {" D6 W0 V0 K, p( w8 B: n
School)$ o; |3 `/ S% X* B/ L( v: F u
Must have supervisory experience" q7 D* V7 `9 }1 i5 u& L
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
4 l ?$ I3 K4 n+ C9 X, B+ E* tMust be computer literate1 B/ y- n; H% m$ Q8 n# Q* b
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
( u {1 p+ h1 a+ hMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network; U* f% s( h9 |' R- ]
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
# \* H0 }9 N3 lMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
9 r h( o% [- S1 B( Restablish team.
