- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information7 v: f! a8 Y. j- }9 I" l
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
7 p* l# B( f- K9 y: ]6 z/ r$ z/ o& Z6 [- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP; v8 c0 Q+ r) T/ P9 E. Y
- provide support to ISP staff
* n5 t3 I, W' C- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
# g) a( Z& E8 C, q% y g- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities8 @! r5 q6 Z$ }# O, X2 Z
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated& I( n/ a9 h# ~/ W( g! g _
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
" g0 e4 ?( V9 ?( Y- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
/ i* d- ?; n. s: l7 I5 L" P- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
) H- Y" u- x" ]! [0 l- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.8 j b! ]8 a- _! F4 P f
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities5 U- S O2 t9 d5 ?$ P9 O" ]! M6 U4 V
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

8 e* T. X/ c/ g7 E* v- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered& I& U4 n' g" j+ Y( I |+ ^1 c1 O, t
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
. a- ?* ? g; P9 H8 K- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
6 p: O+ C* Z; Q8 j. T- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software& U- ~2 ]8 G6 T
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)

- valid driver’s license
