sweet one, that later soured. Two sisters, Mildred Hill, a teacher at the

principal of the same school, together wrote a song for the children,

the head of the Department of Kindergarten Education at Columbia University's
( _# L$ w$ ~! e$ }+ ]/ mTeacher College, a gentleman by the name of Robert H. Coleman published the
+ K7 n" D' s0 T) n& Y' vsong, without the sisters' permission. To add insult to injury, he added a
1 X7 t8 s& a5 w' P" `second verse, the familiar "Happy Birthday to You."+ l' X1 f; O2 c4 t; O

Mr. Coleman's addition of the second verse popularized the song and,
