Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:, [- I$ _% X6 C3 w4 w6 H9 H$ y
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
# k4 i( F- k; N" r- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.) n$ R7 K3 F' o" b: _* Y
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
