Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
: M! ], K$ I9 `# }/ r6 P6 n. K- U' PCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
. M+ K8 e2 i' ^$ LCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
! L7 N4 ], \4 D! K7 y( M
; [; T9 J/ ]" ~& x$ ^, I4 |/ {+ g Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
, E- {8 O0 t9 ]6 u Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
- S0 C8 K) r0 @2 v- q Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
# U8 Y8 g* A# e" t Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
& n" ~# o2 a" a5 ~$ Y+ M& L9 | Assist in program planning/design
% J. Z, h8 ?6 ` Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
6 n$ K: [1 g/ P1 U: g* o3 g Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
' Y8 r) \/ N6 i' ~% @. U& A7 z6 f$ b8 M A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
6 {+ ^; H2 f. G+ \9 O: p1 T Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
