The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

- `% r7 l$ H# A3 pResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
) j& c  Y' }' f* ]+ ]• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
6 ?# q% J' i) Z# J9 \2 B1 a9 H• Completion of a high school diploma
. [  y4 m  e0 S) \5 x• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
/ p& v' r& Q$ f. vTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
) `, A( m4 q0 \( i# a  M" ^• Standard First Aid with CPR
1 ]3 w5 G. T! r( T/ P5 ~• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

6 b  l: u0 g/ i& o3 L2 D+ \4 F* Y• Good verbal and written communication skills

' i1 U& r8 T! I• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
% U- I" q. H1 PSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
