The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
9 z4 p! }' G$ {2 a, S9 l$ {• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
# Q1 k, Y3 O* u3 }4 u/ b8 y• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
$ T& a2 D# t! e• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

& H0 r/ Z% V! j3 V5 X2 uMinimum Qualifications:
Education
: Q2 p' Z: a( u, C; ~• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
  q0 a) e; A- I" I# s7 fTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
! X! |9 V& [4 _" r2 L" M; j• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
# S+ O9 f: `- a  J+ Y  E5 o• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
% N8 i4 Y( W9 q• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
