The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
$ w: C: H9 h$ t0 U$ l• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
9 _$ e+ U- W/ q7 ?' `• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
4 c& x0 Z# C$ M  E5 Y" O- G; [• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
* ~6 e/ m2 d8 a5 ~! F) _• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance
; T4 M* t! [6 u4 g
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
' L' Y/ M* s% q• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
/ j1 h7 Y9 F+ R" z7 @• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
. F6 N" H: ?; M" Z• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
7 o: P1 Q( }: S- u3 `• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
8 T) e( O. @4 p$ Q• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
9 t$ W: e& V; L! Y! oSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
