The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community

. U, d" |0 {! t9 D% `9 S3 z+ q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
) E& l9 Q" X/ ^+ m4 o5 n# f6 n• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
" N0 t4 @+ m/ q7 z• Medication Administration
8 j: ]( i9 u5 f( m• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

1 ?$ {# _0 S! R9 n: ]Minimum Qualifications:
9 `  H7 x/ n/ @' O; B) _# s; LEducation
0 J7 u2 M0 N2 w( }• Completion of a high school diploma
' ^+ ~3 f& C) u# P6 ~• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
1 n8 v6 O8 S/ {3 T" R5 bTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
! r- ~7 U1 q. r, L% k7 G5 |7 o7 T2 M• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
) }- B" ^9 {. O/ ~& K" `. B9 x• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
% w3 X/ ]  ]: j: G0 l2 q• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
