The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

  B1 `3 h" O( L* lResponsibilities include:
( N2 \/ a8 Q& ~& v• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
; t& U& Q; I- X1 Z+ T$ ~. f• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
% p; p% v' _( I. ~• Behavior management
/ ?  l, V9 i' I* w$ d$ r( u• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
' }4 M# R7 }8 B, HEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
  l; F4 H$ G1 V5 A5 \Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
3 F9 K3 ^. `; J$ h7 t" C• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
7 t6 }" H9 m. E" f' F% m$ E• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
