5 N9 v# V+ G/ V8 J. D: {/ ? ]7 AAlberta needs a leader that can attract more capable and energetic people to politics, government and the PC party. Alberta needs a leader that can bring north, south, rural and urban together into a positive party – ready for the future.

My forward-looking policies will make Alberta a leader among provinces again:
' m6 I3 u: e# I: _; p0 Z: n' P2 D7 u - I will bring fiscal discipline back to Alberta with a balanced budget by 2013.
- I will use my experience to open up new markets for our resources and products in emerging economies.
- I will strengthen our public health system by working to make access to quality services both faster and closer to home in the future.
- I will make quality learning for our kids a top priority.
- I will bring new thinking and attitudes to the issues of environment and energy.
