" H" L G7 s3 u. ~Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. - _( c4 s6 D. 4 z6 X/ z2 Y5 K# G7 h# F• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person& C. b5 Y" y% S" p0 A! I
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
- v- k+ v( f+ z( K- V8 p- m• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
, q+ k/ a$ z( J7 f• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter8 F" N6 ^+ D; W! _8 U8 Z
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
8 F. O/ j9 L r4 H$ i• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents; k' e! E( f' y% f# j* R9 h, U
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
( W2 e' s# u" F" i, S% v) F a' w• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person! h t9 S" f8 o7 I# C
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
4 J( h9 ~- _2 h ]• Good English writing and oral communication skills- R. _6 X0 b0 {& G9 ~: J
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients( d* g6 v4 _7 m4 |1 @( J
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook' W4 w; Z% u, j
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:
6 @7 W+ [; e; u! z• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ; `( F& j# ^( O( I; N
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
: C7 F( m5 v7 e7 r/ i• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
3 Y" K x% e! [1 K+ H" }: D• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
