Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker. M4 c, {8 J. y( q+ V
Hours of Work: Part-time (10 hours per week)

Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:
1 ~6 x+ ]% E6 l6 z- _• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
4 Q( ]* M7 O/ [8 V- M• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST% Z# c+ q* H9 a4 F+ e/ g, I1 ~( _8 m
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
* j r P$ a7 B. I S• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter" |5 s1 j w+ V& |0 \
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings! U( v) ?) z+ l2 ?4 u
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents6 ~- g) N' N2 M: r5 B. L
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker# g" I3 `* c$ Q2 u0 [4 @
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

• Report to ISP Program Manager

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
0 W: C" D+ m- {6 h7 m• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
$ @8 a. s/ P. P' G0 \* J/ I( f• Good English writing and oral communication skills& ^ n6 Y4 {' D$ b7 Z1 W
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
' ^% A8 E1 d, \% ]! c• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook
; o0 t6 F: w) e W& ]• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment+ \& _/ ~- m3 }6 y6 o# T
• Knowledge of immigrant services/ C3 a D, g8 t, _, N3 n7 A, U
Qualifications:. ~+ B( \" K$ u3 u+ _
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ! d' U2 Z; d, C" i
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
9 f5 N' [5 c/ n* ~' G; T• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism( x6 L* v) T9 l5 a( ]
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision! U. N/ g5 r, U1 B# P" H8 P/ x3 w
