. l, a9 c8 Q  L8 b3 N; uTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
; D& X3 s/ U! P/ L4 yReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
' P9 s8 r- ^/ }" Y0 m; ]4 v•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
) G! c2 J( b# m3 I# m# e•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
3 N# S0 Y9 K/ c6 E) p+ i  m•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development., V. A( c4 U+ H4 i, q7 a' i
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.) r2 @& n: }* _) K2 U5 q+ Y9 @
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
) _8 W: m6 D2 _( A5 X' [# O3 b•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.% B6 J/ h, m3 \3 O+ t
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
* _' K; J4 n6 t% a$ \•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
7 e8 S. K+ w2 N0 k& {0 `•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).0 R! x* k, W+ E% e  {2 ]6 v: B
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.3 }* ~' o+ Z  b3 F
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.9 M$ h7 }7 ]' Q, j2 S5 K! ?1 M
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
7 e+ O5 D, S) \6 ~: \' Z: y& r•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.  C1 Q! |* j( B6 D
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.% ]8 ?! t# A: d1 q
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.  m, [6 |; A! t- v

Qualifications/ }2 S9 Q9 _8 T6 p- g
Requirements:0 S% s8 \. H/ c( u
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. & O8 z# B' g% T, O) R0 ~$ U
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
/ |* F  y: d* O3 T•        Strong Union Relations experience required. ; D) m9 K, }2 f9 X9 L* |2 a5 E
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.) w9 s; x/ O2 q7 i- C: `& B# |6 c
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.1 k: i) M$ b' S1 i8 A- H9 p
