Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
. j1 L# A9 d' n9 l* o4 P# Z3 DReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:$ i& L! v5 s% U8 }! N# b
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
3 J, ?9 o, Y2 [. B! Y•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
: q/ X' t% e5 p0 U4 D9 `; e•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
7 g+ ^* h9 {/ x, o5 |" n% p•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
' ^, ?0 l: c, V* @9 y9 j•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 5 x& V: k  [$ }5 }4 [- Q
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
. d, L9 g) r- x% l+ c. f+ R•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
! u* ?$ D! e/ I! _& L1 p# c) \•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
  v, C* N) o/ B8 [- w' h3 ~! R( l•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
; x+ v2 [4 t( o•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
: q/ e/ L% L; Y4 r! F! f( c" g•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
: X& j; J, X5 P9 x6 Y•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
' t; v( m( M1 @•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.4 W& k! E! \" M# {
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.# j% b! w, }! c$ @3 \) e; o0 R* E
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.6 _, N1 c! ?5 X' r" Z

. R/ N5 q9 ]2 r9 S- RQualifications! O8 H5 R4 w  ~. j$ w( Q
Requirements:2 U7 |! J. ^% P
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
6 v( l3 g1 n- k* r/ `' o•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
& C3 K+ R. a- X* L9 O% D5 a•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
1 O0 }2 v7 s' y6 C3 U; x•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
/ j8 _, @0 `  Z$ N" r•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
