Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.& ?: Y+ v/ w6 z5 {" ^# V
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
5 B& A9 [) L% c5 U•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.3 d1 G# `+ m# {3 I" D6 z  i( Q6 d; S
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
. z/ b/ S4 |9 Z; N+ t8 f3 e. @•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.' B+ ~9 \9 T9 d2 M; X, ]/ h
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.3 K" n1 k, T8 z$ e2 [
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. + P( w% O" d4 h  b. e" {
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.! ~+ W* P. X5 {: \( y/ v
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.0 p+ ^/ u6 k1 Z; d0 b% m, O" M# z; t
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
# E' w( }9 C- r1 S" J6 ~7 D) `•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).* r2 w' W  r+ K0 i3 q8 F7 a
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
3 o5 C; J8 J7 I. ^7 o8 N9 x& ~•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
( \% i) l! n9 |; c* }•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.

•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:! G8 |  b" x  e- o' q) }. c& B
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
; }" S" a& F, t1 e& m2 E•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
$ ?/ u( ^  }: f+ D  s•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
; G0 H& h, z" y( G$ v•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.# Z* {" M" B/ \$ o: J( `# S
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.0 Q1 Q5 Z' u$ h- p
