% U: \! P! Z6 K5 @+ vTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  Y, z, j" D' v$ ~  O: z! M) U1 SReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
/ O" g, d* C% p9 \% r) |$ v: O•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
# X$ o: f$ `& r, J•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.5 C( R( N# R, r, [
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.3 L" n& r3 G& d9 W- E- z" S
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
; l1 q+ X; f2 n- G•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
6 o, i/ p! k+ \& Q3 k, W6 V0 Q•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
" H- L  Y  q1 [3 q$ V+ h  y( O•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.  U9 r' j/ Y7 Y
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.9 `, L7 T5 L0 S+ T
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
2 A! T4 j* W3 r/ [; p•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.1 {) ?# ~( a# B0 u% `9 u! ]; X- v
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.4 D8 r4 e% a! A6 i$ [! `, {* ~
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
  a' q4 p- @+ ^' Z- j•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs." t% w( e0 C& t& N8 h1 l9 `
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.; S% s8 D5 N7 t  Q& R: E. f6 M
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager./ n0 q4 J7 V7 Q6 W! h

Qualifications% Z0 Q+ u; W. u$ m( o
Requirements:
" e3 k; n# S" W8 Z/ k•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
' C0 D% x, O9 F# s/ Q, F•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. , k% X+ ~) [  ^- {; A6 W
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.   U/ j4 z0 u6 n' M7 s8 i! a) {
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
5 }: v/ Y5 w% S. w, t7 e+ u5 P•        CHRP Designation is an asset.6 K! k5 e0 p7 D9 x1 A  I
