Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker

Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. . • Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
$ K/ w( A2 o# w% ^# F! a7 o• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
4 u+ Q f, I3 J+ Q) q; @$ Q• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately0 {' j z+ c: G
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter7 N5 \! y5 |; r( F* L& l: [: @
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents5 I* q. M9 h% s
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker+ u" z) t+ |& L. f) ], W# h
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events. f+ R9 F, ]: ~' J y! _
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:7 p4 Q3 f( d7 R7 W+ H2 g
• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
. v4 v) ?( A: R• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset5 O6 W! }/ i/ x6 n
• Good English writing and oral communication skills- g6 y" N9 j1 I0 y+ H! S! B
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
, L. I& S; }( R7 E7 T* k• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 7 y- @; S( g9 K
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
5 d4 Q9 v2 e7 o) p5 Y. H• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism+ g8 L) F8 \& @
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
