Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves: E$ @1 i% `* G8 R
1) Any bodily injury or death;
' K& _3 I' m- O2) A Hit-and-Run;% V) ]7 ~6 |! @1 w; i
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
- D" U1 z7 M& f. [+ U; }7 c4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;% U& u+ `2 R# f4 a: `. G/ C
5) An out-of-province vehicle.$ i" V) I: K9 {

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.# u' E/ V6 T, q" w0 z, N
