Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Location:         11190 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton, AB, T6W 1A2
Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

Main duties:
/ K/ U) g6 K: _# r; |5 ?1 A•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
4 t; o3 |2 A# a: `9 B•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
( g- p7 n+ X+ C7 [•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
/ S/ e# ?+ X7 Y5 x; \5 k9 z0 |7 \& F' L•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
+ ~! j/ p7 F6 \6 L1 B: r•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
1 L9 Q9 Z' M$ M9 M5 d. ?5 E) Z•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

: v, A: i% _0 Y* y( E  O, g•        Completion of secondary education is required
8 O& A! t; b, [/ |: Q•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
! n  P) z/ m4 |+ r' I•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
