EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven% Y3 J5 Q- E6 q+ h: p4 D
weeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012. C8 b% Y3 J% T0 b# l6 j3 S* [
(No session March 27th, 2012)9 ^* K, i- M4 q6 \% @* ^
Snack: 3:15pm to 3:45pm
S, j0 X) z9 d% ORhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm
$ {" c6 x5 o5 ~! i4 q2 Y( DThis “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support, K* q% [/ \$ p, w8 |% m( q8 W
their child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for- c: E) z7 g) x
children that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an
! C1 w5 T$ B- c% Y7 z) { ?" B W' roral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It" U# Z# @! s o8 l i4 w
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,
( G% g9 L- i4 y1 N4 Zfun, and supportive environment.; A; Q) ~9 j0 J0 E
Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No2 Z5 v) ~/ \8 c
registration is required; a snack will be provided.
