- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers
y: ~# S7 i F, f+ i2 w. t- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties, Z3 }& e" v( ^, Q1 C; z& f
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties
5 t3 u' p. V1 Z% `; h4 Y$ M- provide volunteers for various programs
x- @! Y- g9 t& q- A( [* M- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual

- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities3 e% ?9 b( h: ]) `" T
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services4 J) H, {. a7 R& T
- assist in writing ISP proposals and reports3 E! Z M6 ^3 R9 Q
- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)
8 H& r+ G9 e3 }; I8 u- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events

- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers

Qualifications- m# j8 z, R8 o! s$ ~ x
- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education* W) m/ V* z; e& H0 ^# \
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills" X# L4 M% [6 B4 [3 N8 C
- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services5 V" u9 z1 d6 M T5 u T
- leadership skills: \7 K2 Q' j8 U
- management and supervision skills
