CALGARY — A teen girl was taken to Foothills Hospital in potentially life-threatening condition Monday morning after a head-on collision that involved a "complicated extrication" near Chestermere./ D$ [4 `7 v" Y) r$ ]* K" Z

+ A. i- c+ a9 f1 N+ O% W( D7 YThe female driver in her mid-teens, who was the lone occupant of the small car, sustained serious and potentially life-threatening injuries and needed to be extricated from the vehicle by fire crews. o) p/ Q( _. v# b

STARS Air Ambulance was called to take the girl to the Foothills Hospital.
