Jessica Qianhui Ma, was born in February 2003, and began piano lessons at the age of 3. She has participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival, Fall Festival every year since 2008, a scholarship winner for the recent two years, she also received second place of Canadian Music Competition 2011 final in last July in Montreal. At the age of 8, she passed her Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Grade 8 and Grade 10 practical exam, Grade 8 theoretical exam as well. All those exams were marked with First Class Honors. Now she is working on Grade 10 theory, hopefully will get through within this year
