•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities
" e. `- F* V$ `8 s/ V0 p
: c) S0 c/ n1 N* W8 b. U•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

" U" ^9 S( n0 R& x•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.

2 B- |, v4 D1 L•        have the equivalent of a Canadian bachelor’s degree and a completed education credential assessment
& K! B! b. ^  Z+ t+ M# N0 \•        have at least 3 years of international work experience in their field
•        have little or no career related Canadian work experience
0 N8 D7 e" x7 [1 h9 W•        have been in Canada for less than 3 years
•        are legally able to work in Canada
