Mandatory Qualifications:

•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities

•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

; a8 ^5 i9 b, s3 S' ~•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required
/ w: a' r# k6 r6 J& ]; l6 `, S7 g
1 O! N& N' S: y8 l; ?# C•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

6 j4 S. c2 a* O•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.
