In development announcements seem to be getting more popular with Canon and their high end products. As we’ve seen from the EOS-1D C and EF 200-400 f/4L IS 1.4X, it seems to allow them a lot of latitude in testing and helps with public relations. It also stops sites like this speculating on arrival of new products. :)* Q7 o& {+ U) c5 a( ~# z

Another suggestion that the Canon EOS 6D will be announced soon. It might be announced on a different day than the PowerShot and Pixma announcements early next week.
