Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)
" ]9 |$ c8 ^" \; j( y! _Your Choice of Hourly or Flat Rate (Salary under review, Rates based on experience.)
Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.

Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

: X0 t4 I$ z0 w% @8 y/ bResponsibilities include:

Diagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
Requisition parts and materials, as required.
) C) }& D0 r- m" ]% K# @6 l6 f1 ?- CCreate and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
Provide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
Other assigned duties.

) W& L+ z) \( b" vApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
( s9 v& [/ B# ?+ bPreference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications
! P# m  X* r% J# M6 WOnly education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.

A Driving Abstract with no more than six demerit points (current within three months) must be provided if contacted for an interview.
